This is a good all around camera with an excellent screen. It is very easy to use, feels well built and easy to connect and use via usb.
My only gripe is I have found no way whatsoever to connect it to either a network or pc via WiFi. It may well be a problem with firewall settings or incorrect information that I'm entering into the wizard, but the manual is totally incomprehensible. No matter what I try, I get 'connection error' or something similar. Real shame as otherwise it would be close to perfect as a compact digital camera.

If anyone can help with the wifi problem (orange livebox) please post!

I've had this camera about a year now. Been an absolute delight. Easy to use. Great clarity of images allows enlargement and cropping to create the perfect picture. I get a lot of red eye, but that's been my experience with past cameras too, so the software that comes with it is easy to use, but mostly I use adobe photoshop.
I love the movable screen, great for holding the camera over the crowd at school plays, weddings etc. the video facility is very handy, and gives great results in daylight. The memory card that came with it 512mb was too small, so an 2gb serves perfectly. The chunky handhold gives great stability and control for quick shots. shutter delay like most digitals is a bit long, so actions shots have to be estimated a second ... Read More:

Electronics : Olympus FE-240 Digital Compact Camera - Silver (7.1MP, 5x Optical Zoom) 2.5'' LCD

After a few years of struggling to have a winner, someone at Olympus has gotten on a roll. The FE-240 is a great camera for someone wanting a bit more zoom, but in a very small package.

The first thing you'll notice is the slim body, thinner than most 3x zoom cameras. The finish is nice, and camera appears solid in your hands. The 5x zoom has average smoothness and noise. That little extra reach can really make all the difference.

The selection dial makes this a joy for someone new to photography. There's an excellent photo & description of each mode, and a very helpful "guide" setting.

The only "cons" on this camera are that it uses the xD memory card instead of the easy to find SD cards, and that it doesn't ... Read More:
