I had this camera from new to go on holiday with. All the transfers on the back rubbed off and a lot of the pictures looked ok on the back screen but were blurred when we took them off the memory. Dials didn't help much. And with a time delay, something that most cameras have sorted now the whole thing was rather rubbish. Took it back!!!

i got this camera late last yeah, it was the first digital camera i have had. i thought i'd dip my toe in the 'digital' waters before i got a digital slr. since then i can count on two hands the number of rolls of film ive shot on two hands.

this camera may not be made by any of the photo big names but it sure can pack a punch. start up time is v v fast, no noticable shutter lag which can be such a pain with many cameras on the market. lots of easy to reach buttons, such as one for white balance, a quick preview button, its got aperture and shutter priority. oh and an ingenius button for bracketing, from continuos shot to white balance.

even though it comes under the compact section of cameras its a ... Read More:

I purchased this camera in April 2008 to replace my much loved Canon Powershot which I had managed to damage beyond repair by slaming it down on the pavement when I fell immediately after taking a shot! I was wary about buying a Nikon as I had previously owned a (non-digital) Nikon and had not been overly impressed with it. However, the salesman in the camera shop waxed lyrical about it and it appeared to be both smaller and lighter than my old Canon and was also affordable - all big bonuses. Unfortunately, I haven't been impressed at all. Yes, it's small and light and easy to carry around. But the images are 'soft' and I haven't been thrilled with any that I've taken. Like so many digital cameras, it doesn't have an image viewer - and that's a BIG ... Read More:

Firstly, it is the most gorgeous camera on the shelf as it's just so sleek and slim. The LCD screen is huge in comparison to my previous camera.
Now the bad side to it! I've had the camera for less than a year and have treasured it so well like I do with all my other cool gadgets. Now the camera's dead. It won't switch on even though I've tried charging it up. I've looked for help and found that lots of other people have been having similar problems. The advice they give us is to get a new battery (which don't come cheap). But looking at other people's experience, the camera goes dead after a short time anyway. As far as I'm concerned, cameras should last a lot longer than 9 months. My previous one, a Canon, lasted me 3 years, and is probably still ... Read More:
