This camera is so easy to use and really does give outstanding results. its very light weight and the buttons are so easy to access,with my last camera i did not have what i call the old style view finder i had only the lcd display which i found to be rather annoying when it was sunny as i could not see the display. with this camera you get the choice of which one you would like to use all by pressing one simple button.this camera also has less pixels than my other on but of course the 12x zoom makes up for this and more.sorry to amazon for saying this but this camera on the day i wrote this is almost £50 yes fifty pounds cheaper on kodaks own web site.just to sum up ,great camera at a great price(at kodak)easy to use.

I bought this camera on the basis that it was simple to use and good for someone whose photos aren't always the steadiest i.e. because of the double anti-blur function. However while the daylight photos are fantastic, night shots or any taken using the "party" or "night" modes do not give the same result, which is very disappointing. On the plus side, it really is only slightly bigger than a mobile phone and consequently fits handily into any purse or bag - perfect for parties, weddings etc. And the zoom function is great (but again, really only in clear daylight - night shots can be problematic). On the whole, I'd recommend it, but not if you tend to be a night-time photographer!

I purchased this camera in April 2008 to replace my much loved Canon Powershot which I had managed to damage beyond repair by slaming it down on the pavement when I fell immediately after taking a shot! I was wary about buying a Nikon as I had previously owned a (non-digital) Nikon and had not been overly impressed with it. However, the salesman in the camera shop waxed lyrical about it and it appeared to be both smaller and lighter than my old Canon and was also affordable - all big bonuses. Fabulous camera! This is my fourth digital camera but the first one I really researched on the web first. My previous three cameras had been Fuji's and I loved them all. I honestly thought I'd stick with Fuji but the features of the Lumix were too good to pass by. I won't bore you to death but the features that I liked were the wide angle lens, the image stabiliser, intelligent ISO and the 10 x optical zoom. I wasn't disappointed. I already have its larger sibling, the FZ20, and love that, so I wanted to like this one too. The TZ3 is nice to use and is a good size and has a pleasing solidness about it. But image quality and the flimsy lens cover are disappointing. The 28mm wide angle and 10x zoom are excellent and a joy to use - so much flexibility in framing your shots. Low light shots have a lot of noise/speckling in them but daytime shots are great. It's a good size for putting in my jacket pocket but unfortunately the lens cover is delicate and got bumped and now the camera will not go into record mode because the lens cover won't open. I'll now either have to pay nearly the camera's worth to get it fixed or just dump it. Such a shame.

I bought this just over a year ago, and although the camera itself is fantastic, the battery is appalling. There appears to be a fault either in the charger or the battery itself (this is widely documented on the internet) so that after a few charges, it refuses to do anything. I contacted Casio and they were brilliant at getting me a replacement battery in a few days. However, after charging it, oh ONCE, the new battery is completely dead and refuses to charge. There's no power in it at all, so it is useless. I now have to contact Casio again and see if I can get another one!! But it will probably happen again... :/

I brought this camera due to my panasonic lumiz TZ3 breaking after water spilt on it. And as im travelling the world i thought it would make sense to get a water proof camera. I had the camera for about 2 weeks and was disappointed already with the quality of the pictures it took, my guess is they had to compensate on the internal parts to make an affordable underwater camera! Then came the first test underwater on a snorkel trip in malaysia, and to be fair to the camera it took pictures ok till the end of the day where there was water in the lense. I this bought because I was going to centerparks and wanted to be able to take pictures under water and not have to worry about my young son using it too. The Features take getting used to and I recommend going to the multible shots before trying to take anything underwater as its got quite a delay. My one annoyance with this camera is the video playback sound is to quiet to hear.I dont know if that has been the same for everyone but I use this camera everyday and have been using it for weddings ect, so I havent been able to send it back yet because they say it could take about a month if repaired and I cant just get a replacement although I am concerned how they might fix it as its ruggedness is down to no moving parts.
