This is a nice unit with a decent picture quality but one big drawback. This is a 16x9 display and none of my pictures are in that format. To fit the frame the pictures are displayed full height but that leaves black bars at the sides so that extra screen size goes to waste. Fortunately Vista has a pretty good cropping tool so I am going through all my photos, cropping them to 16x9. I reckon each one takes about 30 secs so if you have 1000 or so you can reformat all your pictures in a little over 8 hours! Like other reviewers I haven't found a video format that works and the sound is rubbish but who really wants to use a photo frame as an MP3 player? Overall I am pleased with it - just a few ... After searching all the Digital photo frames on all sites, this one came out the best value for the money. It is a genuine high res 8" screen and will except all type of memory cards. I beleive it was originaly made for the American market, and the only problem I had setting it up was the main feed cable which is 2 flat pin, but I got over that buy pluging it into a Gents Electric shaver 2 pin plug. The Black wooden frame that was fitted I removed which makes it look a lot better. Buy this unit ,you will not be disapointed. Paul R.
