Good - it's about £100 cheaper than anything else I could find that allowed me to easily convert old videos to mp4, record TV in a PSP friendly format, and generally replace my old video recorder with a digital equivalent. It's also very small, easy to set up and allows instant recording as well as scheduled recording. Finally, it accepts many different memory cards and even acts as a memory card reader. Bad - the remote takes a lot of getting used to. The buttons are clunky and it requires very careful aiming at the main box to work. The sound is also often very poor on the recordings. I bought this frame to go up in my workplace, where it is used to give people an almost real-time overview of our daily activities as we take memory cards out of cameras and slot them straight into the display. Technophobe colleagues have taken well to using the frame, which has earned nothing but compliments - people coming in have been very impressed by the size of the frame and quality of the playback. The excellent quality of the frame is let down a little by mounting options. First off the idea is great as I have lots of pictures of my 2 year old. However this item comes with basic instructions that are at best, poor and there is no backup when things go wrong. It requires 8 consecutive hours to charge and after loading 52 images of the 72, I had to load the remainder one at a time as the save function failed when loading multiples. The unit then only worked occasionally and had to be reset constantly. The function buttons are on the back which makes it difficult to set etc. If you scroll through the pictures to find a particular frame, the unit freezes and has to be reset. These hooks are absolutely brilliant. They really do what they say on the packet. Easy to use and especially good because providing you remove them as described you do not take any paint, plaster or anything off whilst doing it and you leave no marks. Highly recommended. Just wish they put more in a packet and cost less.

Mine was a gift so I knew little about these items but I did want to be able to display both recent and old (pre digital) photographs. Simple - scanned in photos from aeons ago - digital images were superb, added digi photos from recent years - including video clips and put them all on a memory stick. Frame is set up on a timer so switches itself on and off every day - has hundreds of images in the slide show and is fantastic!! I love it. Looking to buy as presents now for elderly relatives who have no computer - we'll be able to set up memory stick and they will have slide show runnong at whatever speed they choose - my dad loves watching mine and he will soon have his own! I love it - thanks to my daughters who bought it for me.
