The ipod nano in its latest incarnation returns to dimensions closer to those of the 1st and 2nd generation models, without losing the video playback function and the 320 x 240 screen of the 3rd gen model. The new nano is slimmer and lighter than previous models (thanks to a sneaky curved design). I've had this Sony ipod alarm clock for around 4 months now and I must say I am relatively impressed. Sure you may think it is quite pricey for an alarm clock but rest assured it does so much more. I personally was sick of the horrible tin can sound of my old alarm clock and decided that I wanted to wake up to something that actually sounded decent. Don't let the 3W RMS fool you, this alarm clock packs a punch and surprisingly a decent amount of undistorted bass (providing you don't crank it up to its maximum volume - and even then distortion only occurs in songs with a prominant bass track. I don't know why people are talking about them scratching, not had any probs with that but then I do have a classic which is mostly metal. I think they're great,a nice simple way to protect your ipod & it means you don't get a nice piece of apple design and then encase it in a bulky anorak case. Plus you get six, so I've given a few away too. If I'm sitting at a table or syncing or something I tend to use the sock as a sort of 'mattress' to put the ipod on to protect the back. It kind of cleans the ipod a bit too. I really like them, they're a nice simple solution, I have a similar thing for my ds. One thing though... remember not to stick your ipod in your pocket upside down! once the sock has stretched a bit the ipod can work its way ... Read More:

The product itself is actually very nice - sleek, smart looking and well designed. HOWEVER. The amazon description states it is for the 120GB ipod. Which it is not. It is perfect for the 160 and 80 gb versions which are thicker (a friend has these, and the case fits snugly). The product description should be changed. This is on no accounts a good fit for the 120gb ipod. It just slides out everytime you open the case, which entirely defeats the object if you have purchased the case to protect your ipod!! In short - great product to buy if you have a 80 or a 160gb ipod, but steer well clear if you have a 120! It does NOT do what it says on the tin!

This iPod looked dodgy ever since it came out. It looks more or less a miniature version of the ipod classic. It's just £50 than a classic. This only store 8 GB while classic store 80 GB and it has no extra features whatsoever. Finally the 4th generation is out and that can do things the classic can't so don't buy this.
