Dissapointed with the quality of photos. Comparing the 1010 to its previous model, 840 - there was a big difference in quality of photos. 1010 was blurry around the edges and 840 was crisp. This is the disadvantage of having all the extra's packed into a compact camera- however, you would think that Olympus make the newer model atleast of the same quality. Fine for regular photos, but as soon as you want to do some cropping and blowing photos to larger sizes, sacrifice quality a great deal. I find the 840 the better option, or even sharper photos are produced by Casio. Can't comment on other brands of camera's, as I haven't used them as yet. I would recommend you try it out in the shop first, and make a decision.

This Nikon SB-800 Speedlight was purchased to be used with a D300 D-SLR.

Although not the most powerful flashgun available on the market it's however, powerful enough and extremely well built and it's manual is very comprehensive and I'm still digesting all of it's content.

As with all of today's camera/flashgun manufacturers, whose products work effortlessly together, Nikon products are no exception. You get various auto modes such as I-TTL, AA etc. depending on your camera type, together with full manual mode when desired. It comes with a case, stand, soft light diffuser, gel kit and the extra battery attachment so a fifth battery can be use which reduces it's recharge time but strangely, no batteries. I'm currently ... Read More:

Without a doubt the worst camera I have ever owned. It's been back to Nikon three times now and every time it is returned with additional faults. Nikon made good 35mm cameras but don't appear to have cracked the digital market.

I am pleased with the camera itself but didn't appreciate that delivery was from the Netherlands. As such, the instructions, which appear comprehensive, come in 4 languages but none of them are English. In addition, the battery charger power lead comes with a european pin plug. A UK plug was enclosed but you either need to change the plug yourself or use an adaptor. None of this was apparent when I ordered the camera and whilst not a serious problem, it was certainly frustrating.

Very stylish, well built shaver. Good shave (not very good) as you would expect for this sort of money, although I did expect it to be a little better.

Moved from a wet shave as the pain was getting to much on the ol' top lip and this is really smooth and totally painless. Although with my Homer Simpson style six o'clock shadow I was hoping this Braun would be a little close than it is.

Great self cleaning (apart from soaking myself while opening the liquid container thing for the first time). A little noisy as the shaver starts as well, but I guess that gets it cleaner.

Reason for the loss of a star is why on earth is the cleaning unit white when the shave is silver? Looks wierd. Also the plastic travel case is the cheapest ... Read More:
