I buy the 'Pro' cards for peace of mind. The lifetime warranty and the speed (when shooting sports for example) are important to me. The cards work fine in everything I have - Apple Powerbook (via an adapter), Canon cameras - 1DmkII, 10D, 300D, IXUS 500, but not in my EPSON P-2000. EPSON say they know about this, but there's no fix at this time.

Ricoh R8 is excellent if you are looking for a small size quality camera for its reasonable price(I know many professional use this camera for their alternative of SLR (or Ricoh GR, Leica etc). Photography novice like me can enjoy their easy to use functions, especially "macro" function (it also auto-focuses like good SLR). I have used this camera for over 6months but never had any problem.

I own a Nikon D70x and a D200 along with the usual collection of zoom, wide angle and macro lens. I needed something which would produce good quality images but that I could carry in my pocket. I bought the S600 on the day of it's release and found it to be very good indeed. The lens is superb and once you find your way around the menus and use the correct set up the photos are very good. I am very pleased with the camera it does what it says on the packet.

I like this camera! I just returned from a three-week trip to Italy, Holland, and London, and I found my Nikon P80 to be easy to manage, after several readings of the manual. Not too small, the P80 fits comfortably into my hands and does not wobble as the smaller cameras tend to do. Although I do miss taking splendid photos with my 1974 Rollei SLR with the three lenses and polarizer, I do not miss the weight, the limitations of rolls of film, and the encumbrances of all the accompanying paraphernalia. I especially like the P80 because it is inconspicuous, and one can get candid shots of street life without being intrusive. The easily managed diopter allowed me to use the viewfinder without my glasses. The monitor made it easy to ... Read More:

I was given this camera to record various antics on Bikes, the ones with engines. The camera is not too good in rapidly changing light conditions, such as along roads with hedges, it also does not like vibrations as it turns itself off. Its good points are that its rugged and water proof. However it is disappointing.
