These binoculars are great for general use. As there were no previous reviews on Amazon, I researched it on other websites and ordered it through Amazon, being the cheapest of course! Even though there was no mention of a protective case on the product description, I can confirm that it is supplied with one. The binoculars are very light and comfy to hold and the eyepieces are adjustable in depth for either spectacle wearers or non specky people.

Got these bins for watching birds while out on my photography trips and have to say that I'm very impressed with them. Build quality is great for a pair of bins in this price range and the image quality is fantastic. A friend of mine has a pair of Swarovski binoculars and he found it hard to find fault with them and thought they were nearly as good. The only major difference we found between them was the Swarovski's were slightly better in low light. The only bad thing I found with them is the design of the front dust caps, they are loose fitting and easily fall off, I got a set of caps made by Swarovski that fitted these perfectly so problem solved. On the first or second use the player got moisture in it - you could see it when the LED lit up - and started to act-up/randomly switch itself on and off. I got a replacement which worked fine for about 2 or 3 months but this has now packed in and it won't charge-up. The controls are very basic - as you might expect at this price and for underwater use - but even so it's frustrating to use. No shuffle mode, at times difficult to navigate tracks and also no indication of how much power is left in the battery. Hit and miss whether it will be recognised by the PC when you're trying to load tracks. Avoid.

I think this camera is a great all rounder if you're after a simple point and shoot that delivers fantastic quaity images. I have tested it using the wide range of shooting options and I am impressed. Smaller than a packet of cigs it has a comparitively large lcd screen with a crystal sharp picure and an easy to use menu system. Being a bloke I typically got on with playing without using the manual and had no problems at all. I would recommend this camera a handy, small all rounder that easily slips into your pocket.
