I have used many different brands of DVD-Rs over the years and none have been as flimsy as these! Basically, the slightest tiny scuff can wreck the whole thing. To give you an idea, the disks come on a spindle, resting one on top of the other. If you store them that way, the fact that they rotate on the spindle can mean that the data side of one disk can become sufficiently scratched - merely by rubbing against the next disk's embossed writing on the title side - that it means you lose data. I think they must use some very cheap plastic coating on the back of these things. By contrast, I've had no other disks give these problems. Delivery was delayed, perhaps due to order over christmas/new year period, but in any case certainly not delivered wiithin the time frame specified under the special delivery charge. Also product description poor - said nothing about slimline cases.

I am going through the tedious process of backing up all my old film onto DVD to preserve it for the future, I wanted a thin, simple cover for my discs, these are spot on, I cant say more than that, they are simple, clean, neat and do exactly what they need to do.

We use these a lot at work. Unlike most printable dvd's, you can print all the way to the centre- there isnt that clear or sometimes raised circle in the middle of the dvd. Also, there is no text round the edge to get in the way of the printing area- if you need a disc that your going to print on, and need the maximum printable area, get these. The quality of print obvioulsy depends on your printer, but the ink drys well on these dvds, and the quality is very profesional looking. I'm not too bothered about the lack of a spindle, but the only complaint i have is that on some dvds, the purple colour from the underside of the disc above, can leave a slight mark on the discs below. This has only been on a few discs, and isnt noticable once printed on. ... Read More:
