Electronics : Palm Bluetooth SD Card UK Version
I spotted this SD card when I was browsing for a new PDA and it appeared to be ideal (because I wanted a Palm handheld with Bluetooth and a keyboard, but didn't want a built-in phone). Based on the information available, I ordered a Tungsten C plus this card.

However, having receiving the order, I've discovered that this particular SD card doesn't work with the Tungsten C (although I think it's ok with Palm OS 5.1 and earlier versions). I'm sure for other handhelds it'll be great, but I'm really disappointed hence one star.

Perhaps Amazon would consider updating the description to make it clear which handhelds it is compatible with?

Electronics : TDK Bluetooth PCMCIA Card
Having successfully used my old phone to access the internet on my laptop with infra-red I was keen to try out my new mobile's bluetooth functionality for a similiar purpose. Having read several reviews of bluetooth adaptors I was keen to avoid the trap of buying an adaptor with a poor software set-up as this invariably led to problems. The TDK was recommended for being easy to set up and use and I have found both to be the case. The included software is very good and interfaces nicely with Windows Explorer. The included mobile phone software is also well produced although I prefer to use Nokia's own software. Although the USB variant is cheaper I find the PCMCIA adaptor a more elegant solution for a laptop and allows more robust portable use ... Read More:

I have had the product nearly 2 years now and was initially really pleased. Although I had the pan-european maps when I bought the product, I had to pay an additional fee to activate the french map. This I did in July 2006 with some reluctance as I had assumed that since I bought the CDs, I could actually use them! I used the french option in August and found the maps hopelessly out of date. I contacted Navman to ask about updates and was told to visit the Navman store. Software for my Palm T3 was not listed. I emailed them and was told that they were no longer supporting the T3. Confusing or what? I still haven't resolved the problem.
