I wasn't expecting a usb printer cable as no one supplies these with the printer anymore. I did expect to be able plug the printer into the mains when I got it. I was disappointed and frustrated to find that I had been supplied a contintental two pin power cable. I'm waiting to see it this gets sorted out by customer services. Very disappointed not to be able to use the printer at all.

I bought this on the strength of the majority of good reviews this product received. I sincerely wish that I hadn't. Once the cartridges provided had run out I found it next to impossible to find compatible cheap replacements and the price of the canon cartridges are far too high. I tried using a refill kit but the printer refuses to acknowledge that it has more ink and on top of that, after only a few months of very light use the nozzles are clogged and are impossible to clean. I replaced my old epson stylus with this lemon because I was tired of nozzle clogging and expensive cartridges ( but at least i could get some cheap ones from the supermarket! ) if I had known what a headache this was going to be I would have just got another Epson ... It just does the job. The first printer I've had for a while which hasn't needed drivers re-installing, refused to talk to the computer, or generally been a pain.

I used a Powershot A40 from 2003 until last year which was always superb. I then bought a Lumix FX50 ( £200 ) because it has a Leica lens and was small enough to fit in a pocket. Guess what? It was nowhere near as good quality as the old 2Mp Canon. Just bought this and It's a lot of camera for the money. If I adjust it down to 2Mp it's still comparable to the Lumix!Plus it doesn't suffer mad fits of colour saturation on flash photos like the Lumix did. It may be a little chunky for a pocket, but if you prefer some control over your photos as apposed to "point and shoot" this will take some beating!

This is good value printer. Yes, it is a big printer but you expect that as its a scanner and copier too. The installment software is very good and clear so you are up and running in no time at all. The prints are produced quickly and are very crisp on regular paper (i have not tried to do photoprint paper versions yet.) but i have one minor gripe so far on the print quality: the definition within dark or shadowed areas is not good. The picture on the monitor shows a good range of colours and visible shapes within the shadows but when you print, the pictures have just dark shadows and all the subtlety in the photo image is lost. This is with the print quality on standard and the color/intensity on auto so there might be the facility to change it, i'll look into it. Read More:
