I bought this camera recently with the 17-85mm IS USM lens. What an absolutely stunning piece of kit with 6.5 fps shooting and a host of top flight features (some of which you probably wont use) plus magnesium alloy body, this camera excels in all areas. Sure, there are some that are better but pound for pound this is and does the business..buy one......I did........and love it !.

I have used my Canon 20D for the last 2 years, and have found the battery grip to give essential balance when using my regular 24-70mm L series lens, and so many times when on location, the extra power provided by the 2nd battery has saved my shoot. I do carry 2 spare battery with me as well!
The extra focusing controls are a real benefit, when shooting with the camera "on its side", there are duplicated on top of the camera body, but having them just under your fingers is a great feature of the design.
Clearly it does add some extra bulk and weight, but I cannot live without mine!

Bought this lens as the standard lens that came with the canon 350D gave very poor results when used with a flash. This lens is vey good esp is low light conditions due to the OS.

I use this printer working from home for general printing, scanning and copying. I have a separate printer for photo printing. For small business use its pretty good. It replaced a Hp office jet J5780 which went in the bin after the scanner gave up and the software fixes rubbished my laptop. The Cannon is better alround. Quick printing, good software interface. Only 4 starsbecause strangely the copy button is on the left of the panel and the colour/black and white select button is on the far right. Can not comment about the ink use/cost. I suspect it will be about the same as its competitors, grossly expensive, but thats why the printer is realitively cheap.

(I'm using my mum's account)
The amount of times I've dropped this camera is ridiculous yet the camera has stayed together and still takes amazing pictures.
The flash is a bit dodgy but pictures (especially ones taken outside) turn out really nicely and don't blur (I know this because me and my friends take pictures of us jumping on the trampoline mid air and it doesn't blur AT ALL!!) I've got this camera wet and sandy and have scraped it loads and it still works a treat. It looks great and takes fabulous pictures to treasure!

I did quite a bit of research before buying this product (I actually bought a HF100 which is identical apart from the lack of built-in memory) and was very encouraged by all of the glowing reviews, all of which seemed to say that this is the best of the bunch of current consumer HD camcorders. My experience with the product has largely confirmed these verdicts. The camera is compact, a joy to handle, and produces pretty good results in almost all circumstances, except low light conditions.

The only significant downside is that the battery life with the standard battery is less than ideal. When fully charged it promises about 60mins of usage, but this is reduced by using the standby facility to more like 40mins or so of active filming. I would recommend ... Read More:

Red light charging, green light charge complete, simple.

I used this twice already and charge times varied between 45mins and hour and half, both times the battery was almost empty, I'm sure this will charge quicker if your battery still has some life in it.

Overall, its a battery charger, nothing complicated and easy to use.

I had my printer for about 6 months. Haven't used it much, and it did the job.. not as good as I expected though as it is quite slow and takes a while to start printing. However, the most problematic issue has been the ink. For the last couple of months, it has been playing up. Initially I had to waste half a tank as it said it was empy (when in reality you could see half of the ink inside of it). Later on, with a new geniune CANON tank, although it did recognise it as full, it wouldn't print in black. I've tried pretty much everything from another tank to changing settings, cleaning and aligning nozzles, etc. Nothing worked. Fortunately, it was still waranteed so I happily sent it back! The reviews are good, but they are all while the printer is new. I would buy another ... Read More:

This is a fantastic lens. I was originally looking at some other cheaper makes but so dam glad I parted with the extra money (which in truth was not that much more).
As the others write, the lens is Sharpe and very salient. A silly little thing which I really like is the fact you can have the autofocus setting on and still be able to manually help it a little without the usual horrible noise from the motor sounding like you're about to severely damage it. No idea if this is really allowed or not but seems not to damage it and allows me to get that required picture much faster.
In short, another happy owner of this lens. If you want to see some pics taken with it go to www.flickr.com/photos/marcoastesiano where you can see some quick snaps of some fruit and ... Read More:

Good value printer but the cartridges are chipped so you have to use Canon cartridges. You can refill but the chips are all-seeing so even this is not a full solution.

Printer is easy to install. No major problems so far.

Uses ink every time its turned on - before its printed anything.

Not as good as my old warhorse Canon BJ3000.
