Electronics : In Car Universal Suction Mount Holder (Black) + Car Charger Nokia N95/N72

I got this about a week ago, ordered it at 8.30pm and it was delivered the next morning what absolute steal for the price. I have bought others for 3 and 4 times the price that have all broken and none have matched this for quality.

It fits the N95 Perfectly and allows the slide to go in either direction, if you want to use the phone car charger while in the cradle you have to rotate the suction cup so that the piece of the phone cradle mount that would normally be at the bottom of the phone fits to the top or the left if using it sideways in SAT NAV mode, as the mount is in the way of teh charging plug, in either rotation, the foam edges (clamp) holds the phone securely with no slipping. The screen suction cup has not budged, even ... Read More:

I recieved this as a gift and am delighted with all aspects of this device. I note various complaints on the product-
But a)If people cannot work a suction on the end of the device SHOULD THEY BE DRIVING ANYWAY- Probably not.
b) Unit switches itself off- Mine doesnt- TomTom would have tested this product for such errors- Therefore few and far between.

The maps are clear( some errors with roads but use common sense)
Bluetooth works well- Website lists all compatatle phones.

I recommend this product for people that can use electronic equipment without moaning about the tinist of things.

I've had a Syrius 600 plus for about a month now. I bought it to replace a built-in (Audi) sat nav device as the car goes back in a few months' time. For navigation, this is better. The display showing separate turn screen is really neat, much better than the Audit unit and better than other sat navs I've seen. The blue tooth work really well, my only criticism being that it doesn't synchorize with (or read from) my mobile phone address book. I think the TomTom 720 does this.
The speed camera indicator is really good, with a great display. The previous reader who wants a camera detector is expectiong too much. Very few do this. I do have a separate DriveSmart camera device, with preloaded camera positions and laser detector. I've had ... Read More:

I would rate this 87 out of 100 as it is not very accurate in some occasions. It's not all that but dont get me wrong it's still worth buying for.
You have to update it at least once a month (not sure why). Also, the new cameras doesn't come up on the sat nav so you still have to look out in soem places.
On the other hand, it has MP3 but you can only put 10 songs max. But who cares, it's not about that, you've got the radio, wack a CD on.
You can also store pictures on the sat nav which is another good thing, i think, maybe when you're bored or stopping for petrol you could look thru your pictures? :/ i dunno.
The directions on the screen is very clear and easy to follow BUT.. sometimes, like most navigators, it's a BIT late.

I purchased this gps principally for use on a cycle so I also obtained the recomended Garmin handlebar clip which mates up by a part screwed to the gps battery cover.
After my first ride of circa 60 miles on reasonably surfaced roads, the battery cover was visibly loose and hence no longer a weatherproof seal. This looseness also tends to eject the memory card I have fitted to extend the mapping.
I should think it is an excellent navigation device for rambling, but the mechanical weaknesses make it a poor choice for use on a cycle.

46.GARMIN - TMC GTM 12 FM Traffic Kit from: Garmin
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Electronics : GARMIN - TMC GTM 12 FM Traffic Kit
When it works it is fine warning you of stops and delays. It is just that the signal is so intermittent. One moment it is OK the next it is gone. Most mornings it takes 15-20 mins to get a signal and stopping the car can see you lose that for the same period.

Repeated manual searches are the only way to get something. The signal is more reliable in Europe with good strength in France and Belgium but nothing in Lux and Western Germany. This is on a bike so there are no windscreen issues.

Don't even think of buying this. The traffic feature hardly works in the UK. Mine ran out of memory before completing installation of maps.Updated maps are aBOUT £60. The Garmin nuovo series blows this away. The online support is dreadful - I spent hours following the instructions which didn't work, then was offerred a return but the return envelope required never arrived. Brilliant Amazon have promised a full refund.
LATER - Amazon refunded in full. Still trying to get refund of £19.95 for camera data which never loaded into the Tomtom for lack of memory. Refund refused because I failed to return this [downloaded] product within 7 days [while I tried to follow their repair instructions. Don't buy from what appears to be a thoroughly dishonest manufacturer.
