Not a lot you can write about a printer cable. Belkin are the masters of covering their packaging with claims of gold contacts and superb transfer speeds, to be honest I haven't the time or the inclination to test these claims. All I can say is, I attached it to my computer, then to the printer and printed a test page, which came off fine and I've been using it ever since. The build quality is nice too, a good cable all round.

I bought one of these from Digiplay and it turned out to be a useless fake. When I complained they asked me to return it (at my own cost) before sending me another fake! When I reported them to Amazon they cancelled my order stating that the item was "Out of Stock", but then they threatened to charge my credit card if I didn't return the fake memory stick. I had to cancel my credit card.

OK, why the five stars? No graphic display, limited functionality when compared to more larger, more expensive items, but let's take a closer look. Having owned a number of MP3 players, including the oft maligned ipod 80gb, this gadget is really very smart. It is exactly what it was meant to be and for a little over £40.00 represents excellent value over its competitors. Apple have got the right idea, storing over 500 songs, it is small enough to clip on a t-shirt, but stores sufficient music or podcasts for me to travel to New York and back and still barely scratch the surface of what I had stored on it. The sound is good and the microphone is easily adjustable and works well. It's huge problem is that it's very fragile. My one broke after a few months without any accidents.

I took a while before I wrote this, because for me, long term product quality is important. 3 months after purchase the volume control is crackling. These problems are progressive and I'm sure given another 3 months the speakers will be unuseable. I guess I'll soon find out what creative's returns policy is like.

My brother recently got a Pixma 6600D and asked me to order a set of 6 carts. Having an account with Amazon I thought these were a good price but ouch - the postage ended up MORE than the price of the cartridges. OK, I should have checked before clicking confirm but when postage on a small package tends to be a few pounds I expected something below a fiver. Having had a heart attack I would feel guilty passing on the postage cost in full so I shall now end up out of pocket thanks to the unclear cost.

These sound really excellent for the money, and they don't leak any noise at all. Brilliant. Fold away into a tough case too.

A few years ago I bought a 1GB Mini-SD card for nearly £70, it's not surprising that technology has moved on to produce higher capacity cards - that was inevitable. The surprising aspect is the amazing price drop over the last few years. For less than a fiver you can now have a few GB of physical storage in a format not much bigger than a sweetcorn nibblet! I've had a few Kingston cards and the Japanese based-company produces high quality cards which often retail for less than the bigger brands such as SanDisk. The Micro-SD card slots into the supplied SD Adaptor. It's a nice snug fit, and the slight lip on the outside of the Micro-SD card assists you in removing it once it's inserted. The actual capacity seems to be 1.8GB, but I've never had a memory ... Read More:
