Has anyone had experience of using the Creative Zen X-Fi 8Gb with external speakers. My wife wishes to use speakers in a dance studio with disabled people and ideally requires remote use.

Note, if you decide to stick with amazon and buy these discs from them, they will be the 2.4x discs but you will find that they are manufactured in India, NOT Singapore. Also, the discs sold by from BC UK are 8x discs, not 2.4x as advertised. I just can't seem to get it right with these orders lol. EDIT: I have now burnt 4 of these disks, the first 3 gave a disk read error. The last, actually stopped writing. I actually tested the image on another disc, and it worked on that. DO NOT ORDER FROM AMAZON. THEY SUPPLY WITH DISCS MADE IN INDIA AND THOSE ONES ARE RUBBISH.

Arrived next day but when opened the first thing that fell out was a return slip and receipt from another customer! Needless to say the drive didn't work and is now on it's way back, which is a shame as I really needed it today and will now have to wait for a hopefully better replacment. The 1 Star is for Amazon in this case and not the product, which I'm still going to try. I will review again in a few weeks after I have used the drive. Come on Amazon, I expected better than this and feel let down by your Quality Control procedures.

This piece of hardware works well, I've had no problems at all with it. I am using the HP PSC 1350 printer/scanner combination and the cable works well for connecting this equipment to my computer. However should I upgrade to a USB2 printer in the future I will probably need to buy a new cable as it's USB1.1 enabled.

I bought these less than a week ago from Amazon as a replacement for a BT quad set which I thought were losing performance. We live in a large house with three floors and the phones were losing reception in the kitchen at the back of the house. The new phones are losing reception all over the place!! The manufacturers quote a range of 300 metres, but unfortunately houses have walls! I have spent hours setting up the phones and getting to know the functions, and I am very disappointed having to send them back and start again. Back to my old phones which are over 3 years old.

I have been doing more and more design work on the PC and decided that a graphics tablet would help no end. I used to own a cheap one previously but it was not great and things have moved on. After much searching and reading reviews I settled on the Bamboo. I have to admit I was sceptical as to the quality & performance given the next nearest tablet in the Wacom range was well over £150, but I need not have worried. Setup/installation was a breeze (XP), the introductory lessons helpful, and the look and feel of the tablet itself very nice. Having had it for 2 days, it has almost replaced my mouse completely. The card works fine in my Canon EOS 1000D. Fast enough to stop the buffer filling up. Only gripe is that you dont get the card reader as shown in the picture by Amazon.

I actually bought this about a year ago and I have never had any issues with it. It works flawlessly, its responsive, light and robust (my little ones have thrown it around many times!) I use it with a Mac Mini, and I just plugged in the USB dongle and it found the keyboard within seconds - the keyboard layout is for PC but its not a big issue. I would definitely recommend this as your keyboard for a media pc.
