Fast, reliable and cheap? Normally you get two out of three but with this drive it's a full score on all three. One terrabyte for 99 pounds? Seemed too good to be true given other drives for 500mb were around the GBP70 mark. I've had this for about 2 months now, waiting to see how reliable it was before sharing a review. It has been superb, no issues at all, and with no drivers needed, it could not be easier to use. I use it for storage of high def video and backups of my 160GB laptop. A conversion to ntfs from fat took about 5 minutes with no issues at all (needed if you have very large files (eg video). I haven't been able to verify that I get full 480mbps throughput when ... Relatively expensive for what it is, but also reliable as befits the Sony name, and will charge other mp3 players. I've used it to charge my Sony Walkman, iPod Shuffle, and Creative Zen Stone, all without a problem. It looks exactly like the photo: it's a simple plug with a slot at its top, into which you insert your mp3's USB cable. Very neat, very simple, and it works without any worries.

This is excellent value for money. After a few hours fiddling with it to try and get it to work (the instructions were'nt very good)I got it working. I have spent hours and hours sorting through hundreds of old 35mm negatives of my wonderful mum and dad who are both now gone. I now have them both captured forever on disc. I'm just sorry I can't show them, they would love it. By editing the photos on screen, some of them are clearer than the original photos. Good value for money, recommeded.

I bought this having used Jessops lens pens in the past and been very pleased with them. This one at first appeared just the same, but after just a month of light use it smears the lens so terribly it has rendered it unusable - I had to buy a special lens cloth just to remove the awful blue smears from the lens pen! Having used lens pens for many years I am pretty certain it's not me - maybe I just had a faulty pen, but I certainly won't be using it again. My lenses are too expensive to use inferior products on!

I've had this a couple of weeks now, and at first it felt a bit strange as the buttons are slightly further apart from normal MS optical mice that I use, but actually when I use it, I don't notice. It works very well and I would happily recommend it.

12 pounds is too much for these headphones. after a few weeks of use the sound started to interrupt. there is absolutely no insulation from environmental noise.

Dreadful experience in so many ways. 1) Not plug and play - my XPSP2 computer didn't recognise the drive at all. 2) This also meant that I couldn't install the software, which might enable the computer to recognise the drive. So I had to install it from a drive on another computer 3) Manual assumes that you already have a DVD drive on your computer to install the software from - that's barmy, if that were the case, I wouldn't need an external drive, would I? 4) Software installed, at least I could now see the drive - but the software dragged my computer down to unusably slow. I have just purchased this, given all the good reviews. However, the installation process stops at a certain point(when the application config. wizard should appear)with no indication of the problem. There are no onscreen prompts and no troubleshooting section in the manual to help diagnose the problem. The customer service is a farce. The email address for technical support is wrong; I couldn't log onto any of the support websites and the automated phone service is 'manned' by a robot. Buyer, be very aware.
