It's only a mouse, but considering you will spend so many hours using one it makes sense to get something comfortable, and one that works so well. As a left-hander I have never had any problems, even with endless hours of use. I have just bought this mouse as a replacement for it's predessosor (the same model). Had that one for years and it never failed me (until the cat bit through the lead, hence me having to replace it!). The scroll wheel kept scrolling and the buttons didn't seem to lose any of their 'clickiness'! The side-mounted buttons took a bit of getting used to, but it's now second-nature to use them to move forward and backwards through web pages, or you can define them to do something else if you prefer. ... This bag is absolutely fine if you want a cheap functional laptop bag but it is only suitable for 15.4 laptops so if you need a 17 inch laptop bag do not buy this as it WILL NOT FIT, even though the dimensions given on the product suggest so.

This is not a review of product but to Amazon's approach to fufilling the order. If you choose to order this through Amazon rather that the Marketplace there is a good chance you will be sent the 'discontinued' Labtec Optical Notepad Mouse rather than the new 'Labtec Optical Notepad Mouse Pro'. The main differences are that rather than the modern piano black\chrome styling you get a matt blue and silver version. Additionally, rather than have the retractable lead it has a fixed lead, so is not as tidy. Furthermore, the Labtec website no longer shows the version that Amazon ships as a current model. Yes I could have sent it back. Unfortunately, I needed the mouse to go with my son's laptop - he has a disability ... Read More:

On first use this seems a great mouse. Just the right size for my big hands and tracks accurately. Unfortunately after just a couple of months use the left button started to go faulty. At first this was limited to occasionally registering a double-click instead of a single-click. This rapidly got worse so that it was constantly double-clicking and finally became almost completely random as to whether it clicked, double-clicked or didn't register the click at all. Obviously a faulty switch I got a replacement. The second mouse deteriorated in exactly the same fashion.
