Bought this device just over 6 months ago and it worked brilliantly, data transferred quickily and easily and then one day I booted up my pc and discovered this drive was not showing, went through all the logical procedures, checked the cables were properly connected and checked the fuse... I even tried connecting it to a different computer but still nothing! Fortunately Western Digital accepted that it was still under warranty and have agreed to check it and if necessary replace it, but with a warning that if they do replace it they will not recover any data. They do however recommend a few companies for data recovery and I sent the drive to one of them, they reported that the drive had suffered extreme electrical damage, presumably ... Read More:

Have been looking around for a DVD recorder for quite some time and final decided to go with the Panasonic EX768EBK. Have had it now for about 3 weeks and am very happy with the results. Its easy to set up and although i am only using it with an old tv the picture is excelent. When i do eventualy upgrade the tv the recorder has enough features to be compatable with almost any hi Def TV with upscaling to match the performance. Recording is a doddle just select from the freeview listing and it even alows you to adjust the timings manualy if required. I am only in a medium signal strength for freeview but it is crystal clear and the pausing and play of live TV is great. Its a great piece of equipment and all for £175. Cant wait to get the new TV now.

I bought this for my new nuvi 200W, the version delivered to me wasn't open ended but had a full flap that is held in place by 2 magnetic clips. Looks nice, feels nice but would benefit from a plastic screen cover.

A good looking dinkey little product easy to use, except itunes is a bit fiddley when putting photos onto it. I got a very nice clear case free with a special deal iPod Nano Case - PG603 IceBox as to actually be able to see the nice colour without greesing and scratching it. There does seem to be a problem with it disconnecting when doing certain jobs such as putting photos on (every 5 or so pictures it will say diconnected and then carrys on) and when using my old charger for the mains (unable to charge at all). But this is most likey a faulty cable and it seems fine with putting audio on. Extras and in the box: genius is helpful for random but actually good playlists, accelormeter (however its spelt) is fun and cool especially for games. ... Read More:

Already owning a couple of Panasonic DVD Recorders I didn't hesitate in purchasing this model. Alas there was a minor fault on the one I bought, but it was replaced by Amazon within 3 days. I am very pleased with it and like most will not use all facilities on the recorder, but I do like being able to record a complete series by selecting the first episode and then just clicking a button. HDMI upgrading of picture quality is superb Very Pleased

It does all that it promises. I know nothing of Sky + or whatever, so can't compare its recording function for ease-of-use. I've found it all easy to use so far. It's very quick and simple to set it to record to HDD a program by just choosing it from the daily listings on the Freeview menu. However, as I think someone has pointed out on a forum here, I'm very surprised there's no way to record (to any format, VHS, HDD or DVD) one channel and watch a different channel at the same time. Yes, while recording TV you can watch an already-recorded medium (on VHS, HDD or DVD), but nothing live. This is especially odd as this machine boasts two TV tuners, one digital, one analogue. I spent time checking that the cartridge would be suitable for my photosmart printer and found that the 350xl was a match for the C4200 series - unfortunately the product that arrived did not fit my printer. The code would benefit from a more detailed explanation in the description as to printer compatability. The 351xl that I ordered from cartridge king was a perfect fit. Not sure what went wrong in the ordering process from Indigo Starfish for the black cartridge but this has proved a costly mistake - as I did not realise it would not not fit until after opening the package.

I bought this TV because of the price, reviews and Samsung reputation. Really happy with it, as mentioed, it's very light, and incredibly simple to set up- with a samsung blu-ray player it's a doddle with no long winded button pressing sequence to watch a film. And there's the 4 rather than 5 stars- picture and audio with blu-ray or dvd is fantastic, but the audio from a TV signal is poor- there's no warmth or depth to it, and it is still sat next to the sony 28" crt it's replacing and the difference is a real shame. I've been through all the menus and set up "custom" sound but it's still nowhere near good with TV. Happy to hear any suggestions, but so far a 4/5.
