TomTom ONE v4 Western EuropeI was a dyed-in-the-wool map book driver but had problems with some major autoroute junctions in France - so I thought I'd try a satnav. TomTom ticked all the boxes and had good reviews so purchased TT ONE v4 Europe. First step back it up on computer using auto-loading software. Beware getting 'update' - this will take a long while so be prepared. Follow instruction and should have no problem - back-up updated TomTom. Mine in car is stuck to ashtray top in centre console no signal problems (or w/screen circles!) - you only need the occasional glance to check progress or next turn as the voice directions are loud and clear and come in plenty of time. I have found with both the 339 and 344 HP cartidges that I get a much better deal through buying online than using instore options, saving between 20 and 33%. As a postgraduate student, I was a mid level home user of black ink and found HP printers which use this cartridge to be ideal for my levels of usage. Since this is an inkjet system then, naturally, this isn't the ultimate best economical/non-replacement system for black ink users. But if you're an average Word-document user who is dependent on their kit's reliability (e.g. someone producing work documents from home without a need for high volume output to justify the extra costs of laser toner), then this is a solid, reliable base for an inkjet system. Updated my TomTom 930 to this one, it's fantastic. Small enough to fit into your pocket, light and packed with so many features i haven't yet managed to use them all! Lane guidance is brilliant, very clear directions. Hands free calling also fantastic, IQ routes works out the best route based on avge. traffic for the time of day you are traveling. Subscribe to safety cameras and it's a camera detector too. Everything you could ever want, plus free traffic updates, which usually you have to pay to download through your phone. Buy this today!

The drive is formatted to FAT32 which allows a maximum file size of only 4Gb. This is probably OK for most users, but a DVD image could be more than this. I am presently re-formatting my drive to NTFS which is going to take about 13 hours!

I think these earphones are brilliant in sound quality but the plastic tears easily. ive had mine since X-mas and the plastic is coming away from the actual earphone and at the pin. I think this is a design fault however as the plastic coating is too far away from the wire making it easy for the plastic to tear. Also these should be avalible in different colours, perhaps the same colour as the iPod they come with as so many people have these it surpresses no individuality what-so-ever.

This docking station is so good I've bought two. I'm not massively into my technology but I bought an ipod and needed some speakers. I had no problems assembling the unit and didn't even need to consult the instructions (a tiny victory for me). The sound quality is excellent at both low and high volume and I cannot express in words my joy at how neatly it all fits together (the remote can be slotted onto the docking thingy) . If this had a DAB radio I think I would cry. Easy to use, sounds great, looks smart.

This device does what it's designed to do - no fuss, no complications, just slick operation straight out of the box. I use it with my Mac Book for scanning old 126 slides and it makes a tiresome (but worthwhile) task fairly pain-free if tackled in bite-sized chunks. The supplied software is intuitive and the build quality is high - in short it's very good value and highly recommended.

This is a sturdy, good quality microphone, especially for the price. Getting it working on Win XP worked first time. I did have to install a new driver but everything was auto-detected and straight forward. The sound quality is great and it's easy to use. I mainly use it with Skype and it picks up voices clearly, even from across the room. I only ever had a very minor echo/feedback problem, but you can adjust the sensitivity of the microphone which has fixed the feedback/echo problems. For the price, I can't fault it and recommend it highly for anyone who wants reliable and high quality sound at a price that won't break the bank.
