I'm used to having a unit built-in to the car, but I wanted a SatNav for European & UK touring - contenders were Garmin Nuvi 760T, and its TomTom and viaMichelin equivalents. ViaMichelin went out of the SatNav business, so it was the (cheaper)Garmin. Once out of its box and charged, it needs to be connected to the internet and registered before you can do any updates or download speed camera data. It wouldn't talk to the Garmin website (talks to the PC ok), so on to tech support.... "Sometimes the registration software is flaky. I'll do it manually for you" Hmmm. Absolutely brilliant. Ive only had this item 4 weeks and my running times are dropping dramatically. The screen is well laid out with exactly the right ammount of information you require. The computer software is quality and is providing me with the info I need to improve. My friends and I all have one and its great to share info and see what performances they are putting in. This product may seem expensive but it is worth every penny. The only downside that I can see is that I'm turning into a bit of a stats geek!!

This is definitely a good scanner, no question, its got alright quality and is quite cheap for a scanner. But it had some drawbacks. - difficult to keep clean - too long, not wide enough - unnecessary buttons - short cables - can glitch (making a non-stop irritating, high pitch scream) But of course, if you can overlook these small problems its fine, quick scanning, light weight and has a decent adjuster for the lid (to scan books and larger items) A general scanner, not for anyone in fine art.

I already have a pair of iLogic3 speakers for my iPod that I was so impressed with it and decided, unless I am willing to spend more than £200 pounds, I will not look at any other brand. True enough, this model of iStation did not disappoint me. I read a lot of reviews before buying both on the product and merchants. Two things I would say, this model has one trick... adjust the alarm volume as you will have a shock of your life in the morning if you don't (some tips I got from one of the reviews - thanks!) and buy from Amazon (and not from its merchants - you will know this when you choose the product to buy).
