I bought this the day before a 2,000 mile trip around France with my new iPod Touch. I plugged it into the cigar lighter and it held the iPod securely and was easy to adjust out of the way of the gear lever. It tuned in OK outside the house. Had to stop after two miles to retune. Worked fine for the 60 miles to the ferry at Poole. Retuned on arriving at Cherbourg and three times in the first 10 miles, then I gave up and resorted to our old cassette connector that we used to use with the portable cd player for the rest of the trip and had fortunately remembered to take with me. So, it proved to be a very expensive bracket and charger - I could have bought the previous version for a quarter of the price, or other brackets and chargers even cheaper. ... Read More:

I was a bit disappointed when I read the numerous bad reviews for this Freeview box, as when I initially read the description and spec's it all sounded pretty good. I tried looking for an alternative Freeview box but was rather surprised by the real lack of quality set top boxes on the market. It seems that just about every box is made by a little heard of manufacturer who make it their aim to make the most hideous looking box on the market. Because of this I decided to take a chance and go for the Philips which at least came from a fairly reputable manufacturer and looks good.

Having bought and used the DTR220 for a couple of months now I have to say I am very impressed, and slightly confused as to why this item currently only has ... Read More:

I bought the Panasonic DMR-EX78EB-K on Friday afternoon and received it by 08:30 the following morning - excellent service.

I've had it for two weeks now and when I opened the package I took the manual out and started reading it - a little confusing for someone who `doesn't do manuals' but I persevered, and then gave up, but for techies who like to have all this information it is a very comprehensive manual.

Following that, I installed the machine and like magic, it started finding and loading all the channels etc.

The machine was ready to go within a few minutes - very impressive.

I started recording onto the HDD within minutes of the installation and then played back what I recorded - the picture ... Read More:

164.New Apple iPod touch 32GB from: Apple

After having spent what seemed like an eternity trying to decide what MP3 player to purchase, I finally succumbed to the Apple marketing campaign.

My 2g Apple Ipod Touch arrived four days ago. The box it came in was a slight disappointment considering how much these things cost. I once got a hard drive enclosure with a more luxurious box than this Ipod!

That said I really haven't been disappointed by the device itself. The interface on the device is responsive and really doesn't need a manual. It is a case of press that and see what it does.

The 2g Touch is now fitted with a rocker switch on the side that is an alternative control for the volume. It does exactly what it sets out to do, nothing more, nothing less.

This really is the one. If you're considering buying a camera like this, then forget about the others, this is the one to go for. It's extremely user-friendly, even for those who are not too hot with dials and settings etc., making it very easy to use in all concievable conditions. The picture quality is superb even when using the generous 18x zoom. (my photo of a lizard from about 12ft away looks like a picture from a National Geographic magazine)

I have taken my s8000 around Western Europe with me and the photographs which I have now loaded on to my PC are the best I've ever taken. Go for it!

The Zen 32 GB MP3 Player is and excellent piece of equipment BUT as with many other such items the manufacturer's claims of battery/playing time is outragiously wrong. After the instructed first charge of four hours, and a number of test runs the maximum music playing time is six to eight hours - NOT 25 as indicated in the sales speel. I am 74 years old and to me this is a gross misrepresentation, because it was largely on the length of playing time that I made the decision to purchase this MP3 player.
Otherwise the item is everything that it as meant to be and being able to drag and drop from windows explorer makes for a very simple method of transfering files. (Rather than that dreadful Itunes sync system). The Zen player is light, compact - small enough to ... Read More:

This hard disk drive is not much bigger than a mobile phone - 12.6cm x 7.9cm x 1.5cm - and holds a whopping 250Gb.

This makes is the perfect back-up drive that you can take with you. I carry mine in my laptop bag, so that should my laptop hard disk fail I have all my data with me and can still work. Assuming I can borrow a PC or laptop that is.

At home it can sit in a drawer and, if you want to pop round a friends house and share some tunes, it will sit in your pocket without causing an embarrassing bulge.

I have been using Western Digital for years and have never had any technical problems - I simply upgrade for capacity.

The one negative is the bundled sync software. It's a dog and is best avoided. Search for syncback on Google ... Read More:
