I have had the camera for more than one year now and I am very happy with the pictures that I have shot. I am not a wizard with technology so I just tend to point and shoot. Most of the time the shots will be of a really high quality. The zoom function is really user friendly, as is the switching between picture shots and video recording. The battery life is good. Recharging the small canon battery is easy, and makes the camera lighter and less bulky than otherwise. A 1GB memory card will store hundreds of pictures, and a good few minutes of video. I've had this camera about a year now. Been an absolute delight. Easy to use. Great clarity of images allows enlargement and cropping to create the perfect picture. I get a lot of red eye, but that's been my experience with past cameras too, so the software that comes with it is easy to use, but mostly I use adobe photoshop. I love the movable screen, great for holding the camera over the crowd at school plays, weddings etc. the video facility is very handy, and gives great results in daylight. The memory card that came with it 512mb was too small, so an 2gb serves perfectly. The chunky handhold gives great stability and control for quick shots. shutter delay like most digitals is a bit long, so actions shots have to be estimated a second or ... Read More:
