Delivered today and I've just about got it sussed! For the size of the display I'm pleased with the picture quality, but obviously close up faces are better than landscapes.I'm fairly technically literate, but it's taken me an hour or so to get pictures on and change the display to slideshow! The instructions are TINY so get your specs on. The software CD is on a mini disc so needs a drive with a centre spindle to press it onto (I assume). Load the software as instructed, then click finish before plugging in the USB cable. Then open the software again. After that it's quite simple to select photos and synchronise to the unit. I'd been looking for ages for a photo frame with a leather look that would actually match my other picture frames and general apartment furnishings. Also my biggest bugbear is that most frames have that annoying plastic dot on the frame which I think is for the remote control receiver. on this model they seem to have done the sensible thing and done away with the remote control and made the frame nice and smooth without the plastic remote sensor. nix seem to have gone for the stylish yet simple approach, acknowledging that I only want to see my photos on this and not watch movies or listen to music (that's what my bose hi-fi and sony tv is for).
