I agree with the previous reviewer. It's good value for money, but its let down by a poor instruction manual. A good technical author would make a good impact on the product.

You first take it out of the box looks a little chunky, but never the less, you stick in a memory card (nearly any kind)with an adaptor and suddenly your view is changed, what an incredible machine, with all your pics flicking past before your eyes. But the best part is the music, browse any files and play similar to windows media player, but you cannot make playlists. The only downsides to this system is that when you put in say a 1gb memory it tends to freeze every once in a while, and you cannot delete anything that is on the computer unless plugged into a memory card reader. I purchased the black version of this (PF-A700B) from PC World. It was intended for my elderly mother-in-law. We wanted ease of use - so she could switch it on and get into slideshow without navigating any menus. Unfortunately, this is not possible - whenever you switch on or insert a memory device, you have to choose whether to view a slideshow or go into the setup menu and I can't see any way to change this. The aspect ratio is 16:9 which is wider than most photos, so you end up with the top & bottom being cropped. This seems to be the same with most 7" frames though. I bought this product with the intention of giving it to my Dad for christmas, it looked great online. Unfortunately when I received the item I was very disappointed! The quality of this item was awful, at ~£30 I expected a decent level of quality. This item looked like it came from the pound shop! There is no way I would give this as a gift and for the money I would definately not recommend this item.

Awful grainy pictures, complicated to use, tacky looking and has an 'instruction manual' translated by someone who obviously does not speak English at all. Also had scratches across the screen. It was ordered as a gift but there is no-one I dislike enough to give this to. I think the 5 star review on here must be from someone who works for Tecknet.
