Mine was a gift so I knew little about these items but I did want to be able to display both recent and old (pre digital) photographs. Simple - scanned in photos from aeons ago - digital images were superb, added digi photos from recent years - including video clips and put them all on a memory stick. Frame is set up on a timer so switches itself on and off every day - has hundreds of images in the slide show and is fantastic!! I love it. Looking to buy as presents now for elderly relatives who have no computer - we'll be able to set up memory stick and they will have slide show runnong at whatever speed they choose - my dad loves watching mine and he will soon have his own! I love it - thanks to my daughters who bought it for me.

I've read many reviews for the low value end of digital frames; some customers are satisfied some brand them as a load of rubbish and a waste of money. I purchased a cheap 7" digital frame expecting to be disapointed and have to return it. To my surprise the results were quite acceptable. However I had to work for it! The manufacturers specification quotes a resolution of 480x234 and a picture ratio of 16:9, however if you do the sums a picture width of 480 pixels and a ratio of 16:9 gives a height of 270 pixels, and in practise a picture of this size (480x270) fills the screen. The quality of the photos could be better (the example pics that come with it are of a much higher quality then what you can actually achieve with the frame) but it's clear enough to see the pictures fine. I was surprised at how few pictures it held being 8mb and the photos being so small, I got just under 100 on it. Overall, for £15.99 I didn't expect much better and am satisfied with what I got for the price. If you want high quality pics then go for a more expensive brand (and just look after your keys!), if you just want cheap and cheerful then this does the job.

It is beautifully designed with simple ergonomic designed navigation buttons & icons on the screen. Set-up and diplay of pictures is a doodle....a must for anyone who wants to own a Digital Photo Frame for life and not change it as you house interior changes....Apple would be happy with the design!!!!
