I have owned the previous version (C6X) of the chargepak for around 2 years. Currently it gives around 15 minutes of play before it dies. When I called Pure's customer helpline, I explained that the product was out of warranty and that I appreciated that I would not be refunded. However, the lady who answered was quite defensive and explained that, as the product has a one year guarantee, Pure expect it to last only around 12 months. If this is so, then £30 seems a lot to pay for occasional use away from the mains in one year.

My experience of rechargeable batteries is generally far better - mobile phones, digital cameras and multi-purpose rechargeable batteries. I feel that there must be something wrong with the chargepak if Pure ... Read More:

I don't rate Norton at all anymore, it's insidious, gets into every part of your machine and an absolute monster when trying to remove it from your system. Not recommended, does what its supposed to but not user friendly and a down right nuisance at times, steer clear, and try Kaspersky, so far it's a dream in comparison.

My TomTom ONE v4 (Traffic Europe 22) worked straight out of the box - very intuitive, (anyway, it's easy to pop into a high street store and ask for a demo first). Once home it was simple to connect the tomtom to my PC, although it didn't immediately connect to TomTom Home - I had to go into My Computer and find the "install.exe" file on the device and start it off by clicking that.

Once connected to TomTom Home an updated European map set was immediately offered, which I downloaded. Note: this was an 850MB file and took some 3 hours on my PC with a 1Mbit broadband; BE SURE NOT TO DISCONNECT YOUR TOMTOM DURING THIS DOWNLOAD, and if you have a dodgy internet connection wait until it's stable. I had no problems at all, and then proceeded to ... Read More:

A few years ago I bought a 1GB Mini-SD card for nearly £70, it's not surprising that technology has moved on to produce higher capacity cards - that was inevitable. The surprising aspect is the amazing price drop over the last few years. For less than a fiver you can now have a few GB of physical storage in a format not much bigger than a sweetcorn nibblet!

I've had a few Kingston cards and the Japanese based-company produces high quality cards which often retail for less than the bigger brands such as SanDisk. The Micro-SD card slots into the supplied SD Adaptor. It's a nice snug fit, and the slight lip on the outside of the Micro-SD card assists you in removing it once it's inserted. The actual capacity seems to be 1.8GB, but I've never had ... Read More:

I have found with both the 339 and 344 HP cartidges that I get a much better deal through buying online than using instore options, saving between 20 and 33%. As a postgraduate student, I was a mid level home user of black ink and found HP printers which use this cartridge to be ideal for my levels of usage.

Since this is an inkjet system then, naturally, this isn't the ultimate best economical/non-replacement system for black ink users. But if you're an average Word-document user who is dependent on their kit's reliability (e.g. someone producing work documents from home without a need for high volume output to justify the extra costs of laser toner), then this is a solid, reliable base for an inkjet system.

Be warned that the reviewer ... Read More:

I received this within a week of ordering it (super saver free delivery) so cant complain there. Very easy to set up, no messing about, plug it in and you are ready to go. I was very impressed with the sound that came out of it, even at a high volume the sound is still crisp and clear, no distortion. It looks great aswell, sleak and simple, nothing fancy. Overall for what you pay for it it is a wonderful bit of kit. Highly recommended.

OK, why the five stars? No graphic display, limited functionality when compared to more larger, more expensive items, but let's take a closer look.

Having owned a number of MP3 players, including the oft maligned ipod 80gb, this gadget is really very smart. It is exactly what it was meant to be and for a little over £40.00 represents excellent value over its competitors. Apple have got the right idea, storing over 500 songs, it is small enough to clip on a t-shirt, but stores sufficient music or podcasts for me to travel to New York and back and still barely scratch the surface of what I had stored on it. What else is small? Well not the battery life, that's for sure and whilst the headphones are poor, it was not so long ago that I paid this amount for ... Read More:

This is a sturdy, good quality microphone, especially for the price. Getting it working on Win XP worked first time. I did have to install a new driver but everything was auto-detected and straight forward.

The sound quality is great and it's easy to use. I mainly use it with Skype and it picks up voices clearly, even from across the room. I only ever had a very minor echo/feedback problem, but you can adjust the sensitivity of the microphone which has fixed the feedback/echo problems.

For the price, I can't fault it and recommend it highly for anyone who wants reliable and high quality sound at a price that won't break the bank.
