The sound is good and the microphone is easily adjustable and works well. It's huge problem is that it's very fragile. My one broke after a few months without any accidents.

I cannot fault HENRY, infact I am on my second one. The first one lasted me 26 years and it had fallen down the stairs on several occasions, without a mark on it and still smiling!

Bought this camcorder a few days ago so not had much chance to try it out as yet. But agree having to remove the battery to attach mains supply to connect to a PC is a nuisance. Surely users can be left to decide for themselves whether the battery has enough charge left to carry out the required operation? The major annoyance I have found is that even with the windcut switched on the microphones turn even the slightest hint of a breeze into a howling gale on the soundtrack. My first digital camcorder about 10 years ago was a Panasonic and had the same problem which I put down to digital camcorder technology then being new. I ordered these on sunday night and the fast delivery, appreciative note and quality of the earphones is amazing. The sound quality is excellent, very loud and clear (ideal for use in crowded or noisy places) and the colour of them is so vibrant and funky. At a cheap price these are great and I highly recommend them.

Just when all my bills are going up, I discovered this to help me save some cash. Obviously I could around switching everything off all the time, but why give myself a bad back doing that, this is a much better idea. Grabbed the other little remote control gadget too and the timer is great!

My one just does not work at first I thought it was my poor computer skills and laid it aside. however my computer knowledgeable friends tell me it is dead. As this product is still under warranty (2 years)I contacted Amazon who gave me an email contact address for MMUK. I have emailed them on several occasions requesting they replace or refund but they have totally ignored my emails. Beware dodgy product, poor customer service, go elsewhere.

As an employee of the industry (at sales/retail/service level) i have seen cables go for up to £50-100. Although these higher prices generally assure quality, two things are required in the build quality of HDMI's: Gold plating and robust cable covering. When these two things are covered the quality is mainly producer based. I bought this cable, to begin with, for a Panasonic DVD recorder/VHS combi. The upscale quality was good at 576p. I have more recently purchased a Playstation 3, and decided to use this HDMI with it. I am happy to report that it worked, and has since, at 1080p, with a clear picture quality. I have found with both the 339 and 344 HP cartidges that I get a much better deal through buying online than using instore options, saving between 20 and 33%. As a postgraduate student, I was a mid level home user of black ink and found HP printers which use this cartridge to be ideal for my levels of usage. Since this is an inkjet system then, naturally, this isn't the ultimate best economical/non-replacement system for black ink users. But if you're an average Word-document user who is dependent on their kit's reliability (e.g. someone producing work documents from home without a need for high volume output to justify the extra costs of laser toner), then this is a solid, reliable base for an inkjet system. What an amazing little gadget! The picture and sound quality are exceptional considering the price tag and it's so easy to use that even my slightly techno-phobe husband could take footage. I'm having a little trouble emailing videos but I'm hoping that will iron itself out in time. I'd recommend buying a USB cable as I felt that using the integral USB arm is a bit precarious. I'm still giving the Flip 5 stars though, as I love it and and am so glad I bought it to preserve memories of my baby daughter. :-)
