Mine broke after 11 months of light use. The fax simply packed up. The unit is very expensive to run with costly ink film cartridges, and the print quality is poor.

The settings are limited and the instructions very poor. I replaced mine with a Brother using inkjet cartridges. This is "Philips" but is really Sagem as they took over the Philips business sector, and the flimsy nature of this device makes it suited to those who fax once a year or receive very few.

It is a toy not a real Fax/TAM like the workhorses of old, these are flimsy and uneconomic to run.
