ordered this item just over a moth ago and a few days ago it crashed!!!!! because of this my daughter lost some of her coursework as she had not got it backed up i would strongly advise you nt to buy this item

What a wonderful little case, it fits two USB flash drives and can easily be clipped on to your belt, id tag etc. enabling you to carry two flash drives with easy access. Whilst not suitable for the very small thumb drives or the larger bulkier ones it should fit most standard drives; I use it for my SanDisk Cruzer Titanium and Lexar JumpDrive Lighting. Like every CaseLogic case I have used this is made with an eye for quality and usability, the case is lightweight and the Velcro closure ensures the case remains securely closed whilst in use.

I was quite pleased with my 2Gb lexar jumpdrive until it stoped working (I plugged it into a PC or Mac and nothing happened - just dead). I remembered the lifetime warranty so contacted Lexar through their website and was told to return it to the USA. Unfortunately Lexar sent me a new one and stated the full value in the customs declaration and sent by UPS, so by the time it arrived there was GBP 20.14 to pay (more than the cost of a new one). I have since learnt that there is a UK sales office and you can send RMAs to the local office, avoiding the risk of customs and courier charges. So, be warned, the lifetime warranty may be worthless to you depending on where you live etc. And if you do end up needing to send it back under ... Read More:

The first time I plugged into my computer (running XP) launchpad worked perfectly, and I thought I had found the best product of the year. I happily bought and loaded on some new U3 software. One week later, having used it in a couple of work computers, I plug it back into my laptop only to find that the Launchpad (the indispensible platform for running the software on the flashdisk) utterly failed to initialise properly, hanging once it got as far as the icon in my tray. All that money on those programs wasted.... The technology is promising but from what I can gather, U3 is still VERY unreliable, and one cannot uninstall and reinstall so if it fails, that's it folks.
