Like Mr Plunkett I, too, purchased a 32 GB flash drive from eBay but although it appeared to have 32 GB capacity it actually only had 4 GB because it had been faked . (Google "fake 32 GB flash drive" for more details). I haven't received mine from Amazon yet so I have NO reason to suspect that this one's a fake but this is a note of caution in case anyone's looking for a cheaper deal. (Some days later): I've received the 32GB flash drive and tested it and I can confirm that it is a bona fide 32GB USB drive.

Cheap plastic case which broke open after two months. I stuck it back together with duct tape and it eventually gave up after three months use losing valuable files. I would definitely not recommend it. Because it is over a month Amazon won't exchange it, not that I'd use another one.

I bought a Sony 8GB Micro Vault, as it looks quite solid in the pictures and I have always found Sony products to be well constructed. However, when I received the product (and no complaints for the service from Moreflash - ordered late Friday evening and arrived early the next Tuesday) I found that it feels very cheap and fragile. In fact it feels more like a cheap plastic toy from a fairground than something that I will be entrusting to carry my documents around on. I guess that if it lasts for a couple of years (which I doubt) then I should not really complain, as this is what I bought it to do, but these days I expect my hardware items to be well made and aesthetically pleasing and not cheap and tacky (Apple versus Chad Valley).
