The Tomtom One traffic did exactly as it promised and worked sraight from the box, was very easy to use and provided accurate and easy to follow directions. The first journey I tested it on was 200 miles long and it didn't let me down once. The traffic function was invaluable and worked smartly and efficiently, saving me time and sanity. I think some users expect the impossible from a gadget, and of course the traffic facility will have its limitations. If there is no faster route around the traffic the tomtom will tell you this and you will have to sit in the queue. There is no magic button to make traffic evaporate! I knocked a star off because I've had a few problems after updating the device. After a month of non working solutions from tomtom support they finally looked at the device and replaced the mainboard. Since then I've had no problems. Overall it's a very good product, I use it often and there's rarely any map problems. (Which are usually only small things that are easy to correct yourself). Defiantly worth buying to put your mind at ease, it's always nice to know if you get lost you can just get it out.

As well as those mentioned by the other reviewer, this case also fits the GPSMAP 60 and 76 series units. It's a perfect fit for my 76CSx and a well made case, but check on Garmin's website before you buy.

I bought the GPS60 to replace an 8-year-old GPS12 that has done hundreds of walks in the Lakes and nearly 200 Munros. There is a lot to like about the GPs60 until you take it out into the field. It loses the GPS signal and produces a consequent break in the track log at the slightest excuse, when the GPS12 would not have done so. It's great to have the fancy features and flexible choice of what information is displayed, but in my experience it's a definite step backwards in comparison with the GPS12 when it comes to the rather important feature of being able to find and keep a position!

This mount is superior to the original because it does actually adhere to the windscreen or to the alternative dashboard mounting disc. However because it is mounted on a flexible arm it vibrates annoyingly (making it hard to read) on all but the smoothest roads. Besides, I think it is totally wrong that TomTom continue to sell a product that has an inadequate mount and then expect you to pay £15.25 (which is cheapest from Amazon by the way, normally £19.99)for an alternative. My solution will be to look round at other makes of sat-nav when I replace;this is agreat pity because the product itself is a good one.
