Had Tomtom software installed on my Nokia N95 8GB Mobile Phone needed a GPS Receiver N95 has a Internal GPS but it is totally RUBBISH saw this one was nice and small just what I needed. Well it is easy as 1,2,3 My N95 found it straight VIA Bluetooth but what really Supraised me was that it cached a SIGNAL INSIDE MY HOUSE YES INSIDE!!! so I turned everything off to try again this time I got my Tomtom 920 out and it could not find a signal inside BUT did manage to find it after 3 minutes just showing 1 BAR then I opened the Tomtom on my Nokia N95 & BOY I was SHOCKED got a signal in 20 seconds and showing 3 BARS This Must be something to do with the CHIPSET thats inside this "GPS 2000 FREEDOM" uses a Chipset called MTK while the one ... I was worried about buying this given the bad press the original receiver got for poor reception, however I needed the functionality and this is, after all, the 2008 model. I initially thought I had made a mistake because the Amazon site does not list my 720 as supported and initially the machine did not recognise the antenna. However I updated the software to 8.1 and lo and behold it did work and I got a signal from inside my living room. Several traffic incidents were identified and it seems to work perfectly with no reception issues. I have yet to try it in anger in my car but it all looks like it should work well. I will try and update this review in a while after I have got some experience.

After getting the Foot Pod out of the box, you take your laces out of one of your running shoes feed them through the Foot Pod and press and hold the button of the front and you are away. The Forerunner detects the unit and asks if you would like to use it and if you would like to calibrate it. Calibration is easy (although I havent done it yet!), find your nearest 400m running track press start, run 800m and press stop (on the Forerunner) input your measurement and you are calibrated. Even without calibration it is 97% accurate. Its great that I can now run on my treadmill and input all of my runs on SportsTracks and Garmin training Center. Having owned a TomTom 700 for some time a few months ago I bought a TomTom 720. I realised that TomTom had downgraded the product so that the remote control was no longer included but wasn't put off because the price is now a lot lower and the remote is available seperately. I was intrigued to see if my old remote would work but no, TomTom have changed the way it works. So I went ahead and ordered a TomTom remote. I ordered on the 1st Sept witha delivery estimate of 2 to 4 weeks. That came and went and I got an email from Amazon saying it was delayed and would be with me at the ned of October.
