I bought this case and power adapter for my new TomTom ONE v4 Western Europe. The case is very snug (the zip only just zips up), there is no room for the car charger or other accessories which is a shame. Having said that, I think it will do a good job in protecting the TomTom and will make it much easier to chuck it in a bag without worry. Overall, not great value for money, the materials are not great. Probably best to look at the other cases available for TomTom devices.

I have just had a terrible experience with this product. I was driving through London today, on my way to the hospital and the device directed me to turn left onto a road which had been turned into a pedestrian zone! A short time after, it asked me to turn "Right" from a junction with no right turn. As a result, I received a fixed penalty of £30 from the police. To top it all off, it asked me to turn "Left" on to a road which clearly had the "No Left Turn" sign on it. I am thoroughly disappointed with the performance of this product, especially for roads in Central London where I am sure data on roads is easily available. My first sat nav and I must say I have made a good choice.It worked straight from the box. The maps displayed are excellent and spoken instructions clear. I deliberately took wrong directions when testing out the device, and the TomTom quickly put me back on route. An in-car charger is supplied, If you are going on a long journey, I suggest you connect this at the start of the journey as after 2 hours my TomTom switches itself off. A usb lead as also supplied. Use it to connect to your pc for updating and also for charging up the battery. I suggest that you do not install the software from the included cd. I was looking for an easy to use and accurate sat nav device and this TomTom fulfils the criteria. User interfaces are very easy to use and the lag between where the TomTom thinks you are and reality is minimal. Probably don't use all the flashy features but basic stuff like setting favourite addresses, speed cameras and changing the speaking voice are great. Nice big screen as well which made me choose over the more budget models. Items that stop a score 5 are 1) the battery is rubbish, barely an hour or two and as a result now never use without the car charger plugged in in case battery dies whilst driving at a key turning, and 2) can take a little while to find the signal when you first fire up (but not as bad as some friend's Sony sat ... My first SatNav and I was a little sceptical but am delighted by its sheer simplicity and the neatness of the device. It fits snugly into my drinks holder so I don't have to stick it anywhere and 'Jane's' instructions are easy to follow. It did leave me stranded at one T-Junction but apart from that, perfection. The software is only slightly complicated to install if you have proxy servers at work and have to change your connection options, but once you've got through this you're up and running. Altogether a successful purchase based on one weekend's use!

I purchased this item from Terrabok on the amazon marketplace as I realised that they do not charge for postage and packaging. The mains charger itself is only very small (no wires,only the plug) and requires a USB cable to plug into the TomTom. Thats all there is really to it. There is also a small LED diode on the charger to tell you that the satnav is charging. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase as charging the satnav via the computer take a very long time. I only wish TomTom would supply buyers of its products with a mains charger. Well done Terrabok!

I bought this satnav because i was driving from London to Zurich. Generally it was a great piece of kit. The main pros being very easy to use straight out the box (I plugged it in for the first time on the day before my trip), the unit is much thinner than my previous tom-tom and the instructions are clear, not to mention the decent price. The only downside I found on the 800 mile ish journey was that, in some places (rural France and near lake Geneva), the Garmin tried to take me on 'shortcuts' when they weren't strictly a good idea. For example, where a relatively main road meets the next required road 5 miles ahead, it might take me on a more minor road which may well be shorter in distance but of no real benefit, due to it being smaller and usually ... This is in fact a Motorola recharger with a similar connector ... but for some reason this is omitted in the product description!! Whether it does harm to the navman battery in the medium/long-term, I don't know, but I'm not willing to find out!
