I bought this wheel when it first came out. It was excellent then and it probably still is the best wheel you can buy. However, like Cobb, after a couple of years the pedals developed a problem which Logitech couldn't fix (I probably play on average 3-4 hours per week). As they were just outside the warranty I bought another wheel. Once again, just over two years down the road, the pedals have developed the same fault and, once again, Logitech won't replace them. What to do? Excellent wheel/pedals, shitty reliability and service.

I received my G25 set yesterday. I've upgraded from a lesser set of plastic force feedback steering wheel and two pedals. This is what I have to say about it and also how it has knocked back my driving to square one! First impressions are good, though it will take some getting used to. The wheel; Superb quality, heavy, durable. Great motors on the force feedback. The wheel feels excellent in the hands though I've not been able to get away with the 900 degree rotation so I've set it somewhat lower. The paddles are excellent quality, made of metal, and make a satisfying 'click' when moved. Also it is possible to feel slight 'steps' when turning the wheel slightly, probably due to the force feedback motors ... Read More:

This would be a fantastic pad had it been released for the PS/PS2. Why? Because the one major difference between those controllers and that of the PS3 is SIXAXIS. This pad has none of that functionality and so games that require you to have it (e.g. Folklore, Heavenly Sword) are rendered useless. The fans work a treat but they won't cool down the rage that will ensue for those who buy this pad regardless. Avoid unless you are buying it to play games downloaded from the PlayStation Network or are playing PS2 games on your 60gb PS3. You've been warned.
