I have experimented with a number of technologies to try and capture handwritten notes and sketches on a PC, and found them all somehow limited. This device comes close, but at the end of the day does not manage to capture the sheer ease of a pen and paper. Firstly, there is the pain of setting it up. Unless you use it very regularly, plugging it in and setting it up spoil the spontaneity of pen and paper. And having to remove the clip every time you want to start another sheet of paper is frustrating. Secondly, the pressure senstivity of the pen is uneven. While exerting enough pressure to cause ink to flow onto the paper, it is not enough to record on the PC, necessitating re-drawing or re-writing. Another spontaneity ... Read More:

After using my palm for a few month I noticed I was starting to get small scratches on the sceen. I now use Widget screen protectors and have found I no longer get any scratches. In addition to this the screen protectors also cut down on glare on the screen from lights, making the screen much easier to read.
