Cool idea for a product. I'm an avid palm user and finding an extra pen / pencil irritates me. This product has two short comings, both noted in the other reviews: 1) It's overpriced. 2) Extracting it from your palm is a pain - a simple lug on the outside would suffice. Instead, the metal finish means you have to prise it out. Sounds trivial? It will drive you nuts.

These overlays are useful for a variety of devices I can think of, including palms, mobile phones and even digital cameras, so long as you do not mind having to cut them to sizes. The films are a good size (7.5 x 5.5cm) but only thin so would probably not be sufficient protection for more valuable items like digital cameras, but are very useful as temporary protectors. They are, in fact, not as thin as I had expected, and stick quite nicely but peel off without stickiness. Good value for money too, with 12 in a pack and a nice softcloth for cleaning the screen before applying the overlay.

This zippered case includes many useful features and protects your Palm from damage by items working their way into the case, as happens with those cases closed with a fastener instead of a zip. The only drawback I have found is that you have to remove the Palm from the case to hotsync it. However, I would still highly recommend it to anyone who owns a Palm and needs to protect it in the chaotic environment of a briefcase or handbag.
