I was after a cycle computer that was easy to setup and didnt have wires trailing over the bike or a magnet attached to the wheel. GPS was therefore the way to go so having looked around I went for this unit. I didnt go for the more expensive Edge units as they had extra functionality I wasnt interested in. I also already own a Garmin in-car sat-nav so knew the product should be good. The system is easy to setup and you do have to update the software in the unit itself as well as the Garmin training centre that you load onto your PC/laptop. You create a user and bike profile so the computer knows the combined weight of you and your bike, this is so it can show you how many calories you are burning as you cycle. I've had this unit for a couple of years now and I absolutely love it. It really helps gauge your training whether you are walking, running or biking, on or off road. It is easy to use, clear to see and comfortable to wear. Battery life is great too and the unit is easy to recharge from your PC. The only minor gripe I have is that it can lose signal under the cover of trees. The software is great and is continually updated, and your routes can be shown on Google Maps as well now. Value for money is increasing as the price drops.

This is my second Garmin satnav. The Nuvi 270 performs very well around Ireland, with excellent satellite tracking. The tinny voice is a bit annoying but that's the price for such a neat & portable unit. It has a simulation mode for planning your journeys abroad, and it is excellent at handling Points of Interest (POI) files. The options for finding your location are very good, and include the option of directly entering the GPS co-ordinates. I look forward to the day when your local Yellow Pages includes GPS for all commercial locations. When using the various search options, the results are displayed in the order of proximity which makes it easy to find the nearest restaurant, bank, or petrol station etc. There's an excellent ... The case I bought for my MP3 player had a belt clip, but it bounced around a bit when attached to clothing. This neck strap is fully adjustable and comfortable and a bargain at £1.95. The postage was a bit steep but the product looks built to last.

This is my first PDA, and after checking online, I decided to purchase this one. I am glad, as it does everything I want it to. I was going to get the Tungsten E2, but as it wouldnt arrive for a couple of weeks, and I am inpaitent, I decided to save a bit of money and get little one. I ordered it on Tuesday morning, and it arrived on Wednesday morning, thanks speedy Amazon. The little Palm Zire 31 does everything that I want it to do, at an excellent price, also with an MP3 player, the size can be anything you want, as you add your own SD card (Which I am currently waiting for from Amazon) On the set up disk, you can add different things, such as Solitare and Mobile DB which I find extremely useful. I agree with many of the pros and cons detailed by other people. However I think this is a very good machine indeed! Having used TomTom for 4 years I am bored with it (like a Nokia Phone I suppose), I was looking for a change so I decided on a Sony, for £100 it gives you map up to Paris (that's exactly what I wanted, I just need a sat nav that can take me to Calais! Buying a whole Western Europe map would be a waste of money for me as I would never think of driving that far anyway), wide screen, day/night auto screen adjustment. What more do you expect? A TomTom One couldn't give you those! The machine catches signal within seconds if you switch on at the same place as you switch off previously.
