I was after a cycle computer that was easy to setup and didnt have wires trailing over the bike or a magnet attached to the wheel. GPS was therefore the way to go so having looked around I went for this unit. I didnt go for the more expensive Edge units as they had extra functionality I wasnt interested in. I also already own a Garmin in-car sat-nav so knew the product should be good. The system is easy to setup and you do have to update the software in the unit itself as well as the Garmin training centre that you load onto your PC/laptop. You create a user and bike profile so the computer knows the combined weight of you and your bike, this is so it can show you how many calories you are burning as you cycle. Initially the unit will take a ... Read More:

Got this on the new o2 contract, 600mins with 1000 texts for £35 a month on the basis of 18 month contract - not too shabby for what you get I feel, unlimited downloads and MSN are my favourites.
I was aware that BlackBerry was supposed to be for business but it works brilliantly if you're a student too! Checking Uni emails, Facebook and MySpace is quick and easy - the email Push system is really reliable and easy to handle. Fair enough the keyboard layout on the handset is a it wacky but you do get the hang of it after a day.
Best example of it being particularly useful recently was when a friend and I went to visit the football museum in Preston, the GPS maps on there are excellent- easy to operate and uncomplicated to read...just what I ... Read More:

Electronics : Apple Wireless Keyboard - Keyboard - wireless - Bluetooth - white - English - United Kingdom
I bought the wireless version of this sleek aluminium keyboard as an upgrade with an Intel based iMac. On the plus side I like the appearance and the ability to stow the keyboard away after use. However I touch type and I am aware of a delay when typing. There is also a mixed response with certain keys - such as the caps lock and the wireless version lacks various useful keys such as a forward delete key. This means pressing two keys instead of one which is a nuisance.

After putting up with these annoying features for a few months I bought the cheaper wired version. It has an excellent response when touch typing and better functionality. Unless you are planning on typing from some distance away from the screen I would buy the wired version.

Electronics : USBCell Batteries (USBCell AA Twin Pack)
Admittedly, I bought these batteries to go into my Xbox 360 Elite pad as I do have a charger but thought that I could use these for my 2nd pad. Recieved them not too long ago & they don't seem to fit into the battery pack as well as they should. I have 4 individual cuts on my hands from trying to get them out the battery pack which took about literally 20 mins, I do hope they'll become much easier to get out as time goes by. But I have problems understanding why they fit more snugly than they really should.

Update: Got the batteries to come out (slightly) easier. However, one of them takes ages to recharge once I started charging it at 2 in the afternoon & it finished at about 12.30 at night! Bearing in mind my adaptor takes about 4-6 hours that's terrible. ... Read More:

I use these batteries in my rechargeable Wii remotes and they're good so long as you keep them fully charged ready for use. When being used they only seem to last 2 or 3 hours before you need to recharge which isn't quite long enough for most applications in my experience.

If you can get the 1000+ maH ones for not much more money then go for those instead, they are worth paying a little more for.

I agree with many of the pros and cons detailed by other people. However I think this is a very good machine indeed! Having used TomTom for 4 years I am bored with it (like a Nokia Phone I suppose), I was looking for a change so I decided on a Sony, for £100 it gives you map up to Paris (that's exactly what I wanted, I just need a sat nav that can take me to Calais! Buying a whole Western Europe map would be a waste of money for me as I would never think of driving that far anyway), wide screen, day/night auto screen adjustment. What more do you expect? A TomTom One couldn't give you those!

The machine catches signal within seconds if you switch on at the same place as you switch off previously. Otherwise it may take a minute or so to find a signal.
