i bought this from amazon after reading reviews and also the price was one of the cheapest when it arrived it was so easy to set up the bluetooth connection to my apple 3g iphone was superb the phonebook sync'd across no probs the actual quality of the maps and the routing has been fine on the several times i have used it one neat quirk is that you can download different vehicles from the garmin web site to have as your vehicle.overall this is a very good and useful sat nav for the money and is better than several of my friends who have tom toms it also picks up the satalites pretty quick also has life time sub's to traffic update again very good i rate it but we are all different hope you enjoy it if you buy it

Bought this unit before an RV holiday in the US - it really is invaluable abroad, especially in the US where most paper maps are not so good. It takes a huge amount of stress out of driving, primarily through a single feature - showing how far ahead your next turn is. This means you are not constantly looking out for that elusive road on the left - you can relax until you get very close to it, and then its usually obvious. Its quick to recalculate a route if you deviate from the chosen one, so it really doesn't matter even you miss a turn somewhere, it will always get you to your destination. We also found it really useful for finding restaurants and supermarkets nearby and on our route. A few minor flaws : 1) Our unit came with US traffic reports, ... Read More:

There are loads of products like this now, but a year or so ago this was one of the few available. So I bought one. Lasted a day or two until a police car overtook me on the motorway and there was a loud bang. Thankfully no damage to the iPod but the Tunecast never worked again. No idea why. So I bought another one. What I've found is that sometimes it works really well and other times it doesn't work well at all. Have tried lots of different fixes... Being the only person in the car seems to help (again, no idea why) as does having the iPod on my lap. Even when it's working, though, I generally have to keep tuning to different frequencies because Radio 2 repeatedly elbows my tunes out of the way. Frustrating. One day I'll buy a car stereo that allows ... Read More:

I was debaiting on Palm Z22/E2/TX as i wouldn't use this item for big files or watching videos/music, I just wanted a powerful organizer.

I've had Microsoft windows based mobiles/PDA before and they are so slow and always have memory problems or glitches and won't sync with PC.
This palm syncs with my PC brilliantly and after a week of playing with it i'm very happy as it does what I want.

My only gripe is that this PDA doesn't appear to complete turn it's self off as it goes into power saving mode, but I like it as it's always ready to use at a moments notice.

overall I'm very happy with this PDA even though it was orginally made in 2005 but most people make the mistake of going for a windows based PDA with ... Read More:

This was such a waste for money for me!

As an OU student I was very keen to buy an electronic dictionary/thesaurus - I chose this one as it seemed a reasonable price and promised much. What the packaging doesn't tell you is that the screen is tiny, the text difficult to read, and the definitions are very limited.
I have ended up having to spend 3 times as much to get a really good model with a big screen, as I just found this model a waste of time, money and energy.

My advice is to save up and get a more expensive model, or stick to the heavy and cumbersome - but much more detailed - paper versions.

Bought this unit (with UK Maps) a couple of weeks ago - it worked straight out of the box and communicated with my phone and the headset with no problems. Linking it to the PC updated the firmware - the Tom Tom Home software is quite good.

Menu's are quite good and intuitive with a useful range of features.

Anyway, spent a couple of days blissfully travelling back and forward to and from work - into the sun both ways so the screen display seemed fine. Come the weekend and my chance to take the unit for a run..... I was woefully disappointed by the screen.

What had been a good screen in low light became an absolute nightmare with the sun in any position behind the rider.

Even with the brightness set at 100%, ... Read More:
