I agree with most of the other reviews that this is a very useful item to own for a student of Spanish. However, I have contacted Franklin UK with a problem that I have found since owning my 1490. I cannot find any way to conjugate the important verb "haber" which is used extensively in the compound tenses of Spanish. Otherwise the grammar lessons, games and other features are great however, and it is nicely made.

Good all round calculator for eductional purposes. It takes a bit of getting used to the more visual logic but its really good for complicated fractions. The main concern over two calculators is that sometimes a button is a bit sticky and it is difficult to enter any number combination very rapidly, as it can be slower than you would like accepting numbers once you have pressed them. You can see what you have typed on the screen though. Also I'm not sure if there is a quicker way to correct mistakes once you have entered them but it can take a while to scroll forwards and backwards through what you have input.

Fantastic seller! Arrived next day - ordered wrong product - sent replacement next day no hesitation - very impressed! I needed the case for the 30GB wifi - please note the 30GB wifi is slightly thinner so needs a smaller case, which this seller sells also. Overall a good product that says what it does in the description.

Had Tomtom software installed on my Nokia N95 8GB Mobile Phone needed a GPS Receiver N95 has a Internal GPS but it is totally RUBBISH saw this one was nice and small just what I needed. Well it is easy as 1,2,3 My N95 found it straight VIA Bluetooth but what really Supraised me was that it cached a SIGNAL INSIDE MY HOUSE YES INSIDE!!! so I turned everything off to try again this time I got my Tomtom 920 out and it could not find a signal inside BUT did manage to find it after 3 minutes just showing 1 BAR then I opened the Tomtom on my Nokia N95 & BOY I was SHOCKED got a signal in 20 seconds and showing 3 BARS This Must be something to do with the CHIPSET thats inside this "GPS 2000 FREEDOM" uses a Chipset called MTK while the one in Tomtom ... The Apple Remote (NOT iPod remote as some people think it's sole purpose is) is an excellent solution for control from distance. I bought this for my MacBook so I could control iTunes from across the room, and be able to use Front Row while sitting down. Both can be done effortlessly! Buttons included are Menu, Volume + and -, Track Forwards and Backwards, and Play/Pause. Note that these buttons ultimately become Left, Right, Up, Down, and OK buttons on Front Row, which surfaces Apples innate ability to give simplicity a new definition. I think these used to be £60-£65, and even at £45 could be a hint cheaper. I bought this recently for my 2g Touch - mainly wanted a dock and mains charger (which I still believe should have been supplied with the ipod itself, as it did with my last ipod). I was looking at the ped3 stand by thought out - but for the extra few pounds you get a composite video connector of good quality and another (groan) remote. Notably the usb mains connector comes with a uk plug, and two other types of two pin plugs which could be useful for travel, and the connecting usb lead is the same as the one with the ipod (so you have a spare) This universal dock design is a bit long in the tooth now, no doubt at some point it will get updated, but I really like its understated ...
