I only converted to MP3 players at all in 2006. Started with a Zen Sleek, which was pretty damn good, but at 20gb, completely full. So I bit the bullet and went for a refurbed 60gb Ipod from Amazon Warehouse Deals. The first thing to say is that Amazon Warehouse was superb. Not a mark on the Ipod - looked exactly as new. And at just 160 GBP cheaper than you can buy a 30gb in the high street! As people have said, nothing much in the box. So I bought a Logic 3 dock for 17.99 - half the price of an Apple Dock + remote, but with fantastic functionality, and a charger in the box. Having purchased 2 in car transmitters 1 for myself and 1 for my daughter i was a bit sceptical because they were so cheap with no reviews. I need not have worried they both work perfectly with no distortion of sound quality.What you need to do is check that transmitter will fit if cigarette holder is close to gearstick when changing gears as this could be a problem.Otherwise they are excellent value for such a small price.

I bought this after being messed about by Halfords after buying one of their ripspeed usb/aux car stereos which was faulty and I had to return. Not only was this JVC KD-G441 delivered in lightening speed I was also very impressed with it. Unlike the Halfords one. It does what it says on the tin and it does it well. Sound is perfect, controls are easy to use (even for a blonde like me) and it looks really nice :) Very happy, would recommend this product over and above any of it's contempories.

This is a very good product and I would definitely have awarded 5 stars had it worked with my 4GB SD HC Card. I had a suspicion that this might be a problem, but was unable to confirm it from the specs. Anyway, it won't work, although it seems OK when I plug the SD Card into a USB adapter and use that instead. Sound quality is very good, with adequate volume. Navigation is adequate, (the display is too small to show track titles etc), but you can jump to tracks by typing in the track number (assuming you can remember what they are (I have over 500 tracks :-) ) Documentation is dismal, but you don't really need it.

Just received this today and am very happy. It works great. In the car it is excellent, and I tried plugging it in to the pc and then went downstairs to the other side of the house and the radio picked it up pretty fine. I mean you can hear it and the quality is good enough for that distance. Bought for 5 pounds delivered, so a great little bargain for a great little product.

I don't usually write reviews but this product and supplier warrants it. I had done some homework on prices and functionality and this product fitted the bill exactly ... but would the supplier? The answer was a resounding yes on both counts! The product turned up very promptly, was easy to charge up, and very easy to tune in. Personally I found a "quiet band" on my car radio, then tuned the MP3 transmitter manually to that "station" .. bingo .. in business. Street cred with offspring now who blast their MP3's through the radio on the school run.
