I bought this mouse in December 2007 and since then I haven't used any other mice willingly. The fact that you can plug it into any other computer and it will work and have your profiles saved on it, ready to use means that you don't have to use any other mice. I like it because it is big and fits my rather large, wide hands very well; the thumb rest is very nice and the grip is designed so that my fourth and little fingers don't just rub on the mouse mat like with other mice. This also allows me to use it for hours on end without the usual cramp in my hand from gripping a small, badly designed mouse like most people have.
The wheel is fantastic: by pressing a button on the under side of the mouse you can switch between ratchet scrolling ... Read More:

This mouse is worth it for the scroll wheel alone. Its fantastic! If you're regulary going up and down long documents or code, just give it a flick and away it goes, touch it again to stop it where you want. Movement and scroll wheel speed and acceleration are adjustable with SetPoint, as are the 3 extra buttons which can be set to emulate any key presses for different applications. (If you don't need the extra buttons and wireless, consider the RX1500, it has a similar wheel). The wheel can be switched back to clicky mode via a switch on the bottom - I never do, I can't go back to 'treacle' wheels now!

The mouse and buttons have a quality feel, battery life (2xAA) is predicted as a year. The USB dongle is small, about 1 inch (don't ... Read More:

Electronics : Logitech G5 Laser Mouse
I bought the new edition of the G5 because i was looking to replace my dell optical mouse, which wasn't exactly a pleasure to use, the G5 on the other hand is bliss. Performance-wise the tracking and accuracy are both superb. The build quality feels solid and its not an ugly old girl either. The only problems i have witnessed so far is the middle mouse button, which takes some getting used to due to the sensitivity of the scroll right/left buttons, and the weight cartridge. I inserted my weight cartridge without any weights in just to see how it worked and unfortunately its now stuck! Luckily the standard weight doesn't feel too light to me at all. I should also mention the software, its very easy to install and run and uses very little system resources.

24.Wacom Intuos3 A5 Tablet Pen and Mouse USB Mac/Win from: Wacom

Having been a satisfied user of the Volito graphic tablet, I believed this updated tablet would be an improvement but alas, no. No matter what I do, I cannot (nor, it seems can Wacom) get the driver to install properly. The result is that the pen freezes regularly - randomly returning to use, it creates random instructions that destroy or otherwise compromise the document, design, spreadsheet or other software.
After several attempts to get sense out of Wacom without any success, I am left to wonder if the "improved" graphic tablet is just too complex for its own good. This is a great pity, as I have been a great fan - which explains my willingness to pay a sizeable sum for this replacement. I shall have to hunt out a simpler tablet in the hope it at least does ... I bought the corded version of this mouse having looked around for a suitable mouse for my (messy) desk at work. Having read the reviews on Amazon I finally stuck with this one and bought it about two months ago.

The first thing I would point out is that I'm not sure that having the wireless version is much more advantageous to the corded as there is little - or no - movement of the mouse at all, so the cordless seems a waste of money at £10 more but it may suit some people to keep things tidy. Just a preference issue, really.

Despite the picture looking like it will twist your hand in various directions in order to use it, it took me less than half a day to get used to - while some mice leave your fingers dangling over the ends of the buttons this ... Read More:

My only gripes with this keyboard are
* The Logitech software is very intrusive and is forever checking for updates.
* There are no lights for caps lock or number lock, just an on-screen prompt when you switch them on
* The mouse isnt that accurate for some applications, i have upgraded to one of the MX Laser mice

Apart from that, the programmable keys are invaluable and the response time are both excellent compared to similar priced products from Microsoft or Belkin I have used in the past.

27.Logitech Marble Mouse from: Logitech

Electronics : Logitech Marble Mouse
A few years ago I began to find using a conventional mouse painful for my right hand. I tried a few different mice but none really helped. Eventually I bought a marble mouse and trained myself to use my left hand. It took a few weeks but it was worth it!

You don't have to grip the mouse in any way and you can be quite aggresive spinning the track ball. It's not perfect for every application and I still use a conventional mouse for some things, but it's the best general input device I have used (and I've been though a few!).

This is the third marble mouse I have bought (they're all still working - I just use them on different computers) and the only possible improvement I could suggest would be a scroll wheel on the top.

Great value for money!

As far as wireless keyboards go, I've had a few and they've all been substandard (dropping the connection, lag, not initiating when the PC boots, etc etc).

I was reluctant to invest in another wireless setup, but lack of space on my desk forced my hand. After a morning's research, I plumped for the LX 710 keyboard/mouse package. I'm very glad I did.

Both are quality peripherals, particularly the keyboard with its many, many shortcuts. Both devices feel comfortable and perform smoothly.

I noted complaints conerning lag during gaming. The only time this happened to me was when the USB signal broadcaster (connected to my PC via a wired terminal) accidentally fell off my desk and was hanging behind my tower PC, mixed up with the cables. Once I discovered ... Read More:

I have owned one of these for several years now. In fact, it's probably the oldest part of my computer! As has already been mentioned, configuring the side buttons to back/forward works a dream and you'll soon become frustrated that your mouse at work doesn't do this. It's so comfortable to use and fits my hand perfectly. The other half also has one and loves it. When this one finally gives up the ghost, I'll be ordering another exactly the same!!

When my Apple Mighty Mouse failed after 3 days and I really wanted a bluetooth mouse for my new MacBook I decided to try this Logitech one.

It is small/compact and thus easily transported but large enough to be easy to use. Light and moves easily.

It worked immediately, is comfortable, easy to use, reliable, etc. I am very satisfied.

I would thoroughly recommend it.

I did not install Logitech software and have always used it as a standard bluetooth mouse. This seems to provide all the functionality I need (including left and right scroll as well as up and down using the wheel). I did read some negative comments about some versions of the software (re: conflicts with Growl) but I also read there were solutions - but I felt the standard ... Read More:
