This is one amazing gadget. I previously owned a 1st gen model but upgraded as I wanted the built in Nike+.
It does so much. An MP3 Player, MP4 Player, Web Browser, Photo Viewer,Portable TV thanks to BBC iPlayer, Fitness Device ( NIKE+) and a very good portable gaming device. There are some really good apps out there for as little as 59p which make it a bargain when you compare the price of games for PSP and DS Lite.
I cannot speak highly enough of this product. Only negative I guess would be it's only 8GB so if you can afford to get a 16 or 32GB version as you will fill it up!
5 Stars!!

The new i-touch is a brilliant device that has everything except a camera. The controls are easy to use,the screen display dazzling and the touchscreen amazing. You will enjoy playing games and watching videos but the battery runs out quite quickly if you use wireless access.Overall, this is a very innovative device small and light but with a lot of uses.My only complain is that I bought the device at £288 and the belkin case for £ 17 so I feel a bit ripped off.Buy the device now while the price is low.

bought this after reading reviews. I was not disappointed. I am still finding things it will do.I use it mainly for podcasts (the sound is so clear} but I have photos and videos stored too.The SD card facility is an amazing way of storing info. and I find the radio excellent. It does more than it says 'on the tin' !

14.Apple iPod nano 8GB black from: Apple

Electronics : Apple iPod nano 8GB black
This iPod looked dodgy ever since it came out. It looks more or less a miniature version of the ipod classic. It's just £50 than a classic. This only store 8 GB while classic store 80 GB and it has no extra features whatsoever. Finally the 4th generation is out and that can do things the classic can't so don't buy this.

A good looking dinkey little product easy to use, except itunes is a bit fiddley when putting photos onto it. I got a very nice clear case free with a special deal iPod Nano Case - PG603 IceBox as to actually be able to see the nice colour without greesing and scratching it.

There does seem to be a problem with it disconnecting when doing certain jobs such as putting photos on (every 5 or so pictures it will say diconnected and then carrys on) and when using my old charger for the mains (unable to charge at all). But this is most likey a faulty cable and it seems fine with putting audio on.

Extras and in the box: genius is helpful for random but actually good playlists, accelormeter (however its spelt) is fun and cool especially for games. ... Read More:

16.Apple iPod classic 80GB black from: Apple

Electronics : Apple iPod classic 80GB black
I have half filled my two week old ipod classic with 7500 songs, and it has just lost all the cover art. It started to show signs of freezing up - slow to respond in cover flow mode, then nothing. I can get it to play manually selected tracks still, but if it's getting temperamental when half full is there any point in trying to put the rest of my music library on it?

I am NOT impressed.

3 stars only because 80gb for £150 is cheap compared to its comtetitors and, as you'd expect, it looks nice.. It does not, however, do everything that the glossy ads say it will do, and i'm not confident that it won't end up causing me loads of grief.

Has been completely problem free to use. Downloads music and playlists effortlessly. Recognised instantly by Windows (Vista). The player itself is nice and small, sound quality is great, its intuitive to use. Battery life seems good to me (though I don't exactly keep a stopwatch on it!). All told I am very happy with my purchase. The only flaws are the annoyance of having to charge up the device via your PC's usb port (its doesn't come with a mains charger included) and the charging seems to take forever. Also, the belt clip doesn't seem the most sturdy...its easy to accidentally unclip from the main body of the device.

OK, why the five stars? No graphic display, limited functionality when compared to more larger, more expensive items, but let's take a closer look.

Having owned a number of MP3 players, including the oft maligned ipod 80gb, this gadget is really very smart. It is exactly what it was meant to be and for a little over £40.00 represents excellent value over its competitors. Apple have got the right idea, storing over 500 songs, it is small enough to clip on a t-shirt, but stores sufficient music or podcasts for me to travel to New York and back and still barely scratch the surface of what I had stored on it. What else is small? Well not the battery life, that's for sure and whilst the headphones are poor, it was not so long ago that I paid this amount for a player which ... Read More:

This is a great little mp3 player:

- appears as a drive in Windows, drag and drop your music, no need to install anything

- radio works well

- three line display puts the ipod shuffle to shame; it's quick to boot and you can find the music you want to listen to in a snap.

- the sound quality is excellent, far better than I was expecting (included headphones are, as exepected, rubbish).

It's pretty small, well built and comes with a neckstrap; I bought this for running with, no need to buy an extra arm band with this player.

The included firmware is now solid - previously it was sold with poor buggy software. A new version is available for download (v.5) though to be honest I found the update procedure to be difficult ... Read More:
