I bought one of these to use in the garden, being no mains power and not wanting to spend a small fortune on 6 'D' sized batteries for my other radio. First impressions: Good quality build, rubberised controls, but no carrying handle. Headphone socket, mains adaptor socket and MP3 inputs on rear case. The mains adaptor itself covers 100-240V. You also have menu options as per which country you want the radio 'set up' to work in when you first switch it on. Battery pack is 3 'AA' sized 2000mA nimh batteries wrapped in plastic that fit in a compartment in the bottom of the radio secured with 2 screws and has a tiny plug/socket connection.Has a rubber-ducky type antenna, which screws into place on the top. Very rarely a product comes along that actually meets my rather exacting standards. This is one of them. My requirements for this product were: Light, compact and with good enough sound to enjoy watching a film on my laptop; in a hotel room. It succeeds where others have failed. That said this won't make a regular addition to my travel kit, however this is more to do with my travel ethos than the product. I will continue to use headphones when I travel alone. But when the missus comes with me, these will to. If like me you are a regular business traveller who hates kit clutter and goes ultra-light. You might want to look into a Mogo mouse.

I bought the Bush radio largely for listening in bed without annoying others. It has proved to be a first class buy offering a huge range of stations, tremendous quality and good battery life. It is also very easy to operate, even straight from the box. I agree with comments that the headphone socket should be on the top in order that it might fit in a pocket, and a carrying case would be useful. I use Bang and Olufsen headphones and it works really well with these. I also use 2700Ma rechargable cells and find they give me about a weeks average listening. Appearance is a bit weird and decoration slightly zany but who cares. Lettering on the control buttons should be a lot larger especially for older people who need glasses ... Read More:

Like many others we have had issues with the machine saying no disc, and not playing DVD's, sent for repair - worked for a while. Had New unit, Now stopped again. When works is great! Mine no longer plays DVD so only have as a speaker system - not exactly what i paid for!

i bought the MS2 to use with my electric guitar and i'm really impressed by it. i like it because it sounds great and at full volume is very loud despite its small size. it's very handy for home use but it's also nice that you can use a battery and then take it anywhere. you get a really cool rock/metal sound from it. great little gadget.
