At first this cd player looked really nice and unique. But after a couple of months it began to break; it didnt open so i could no longer get out and put in music, and it can up with error on the screen which meant i could no longer play or eject anything it was not the cds error has it was a brand new cd, the speakers are limited sounding and do not have the best quality of sound either. Overall this cd player was a disastor for me as it was constantly not playing and now however does not play at all and thats after 6 months. If you want a cd player dont go by looks go by quality and this cd player doesnt definitley doesnt have the quality.

I am very pleased with this product even though I have only had it for a few hours now. Main use of this will be as an output from my PC's optical output so that I can listen to my HD movies and TV shows in 2.1 and 5.1 sound along with my 1080p HDTV that is also hooked up to the PC via DVI output. I also have it set up with my PS3 via optical output to play games and watch blu-ray movies on with my HDTV. First impressions are WOW - the sound coming from this is amazing, very clear indeed, althogh as others have mentioned the bass is a bit too much and needs to be turned down to get a better effect. I haven't messed with the settings on this too much and have just cycled through the presets to find one to suit my room and adjusted the bass ... Read More:

These are quite compact speakers, so you are not going to get the sort of bass you hear from cars driving round the local shopping centre, making everyone's brain hurt.They are well made, with toned-down looks, and with no distortion when turned up loud.Even the finned, metal power supply is heavy, and tells you this is quality. Connections are gold plated.I have only used them for my MP3 player, but with a PC and more control over the input,no doubt they will be even better.They were bought for TV, DVD and radio.I have a pair of Creative speakers, found at the local tip for one pound.I eventually found they were the best out of the four sets in the house. Doing some searching, I found many people recommending Creative, and now I know why.

Having recently being ripped off in the US with extremely poor sounding mini speakers for around £70 I was cautious of repeating the event with this US branded speaker. The unit I bought was sold as sub standard, possibly with small marks and damaged box. In fact it was like new all round with only slight "strap" marks on the box. The benefit was the sub £70 price! Thank You Amazon....! Out of the box the unit is neat and single piece. It comes with a laptop style power adaptor and mains plug so that take up a bit of desk space too. Anyone expecting an unpowered speaker to produce loud sounds from an mp3 player has very little idea about electronics. The output from a typical player is of the order of tens of milliwatts so the volume produced is bound to be low. These speakers perform well, in quiet areas only, from my Sony network walkman. They are clear and undistorted. They are well made and very portable. However do not buy if you want significant volume levels, there are many alternatives out there.

I'd have to argue with the claim that this item ensures anyone sharing the bed isn't disturbed, at all. It's not quite that good, but does a fair job of reducing the noise of a bedside radio in general, and it's a handy item to have, if sharing the room with another person. Be Warned - the volume of your radio will need to be considerably turned up to hear it through the pillowspeaker (and your pillow!) so standby to turn the volume DOWN swiftly, if you unplug the speaker - or you'll deafen the neighbours!

I am sure if I had a p.c. this would be a brilliant product ,but sadly it is not as mac friendly as it claim's,after many phone call's and e mails ,I still have not been able to down load a single note ,the company it's self seems to have also given up trying to help.they claim it is an error with itunes (7.7.1) but of course apple doesn't see one. so I am stuck between a rock and a hard place,and no music to listen to .ION uRecord USB Soundcard & Turntable Pre-Amp
