Fast delivery from Amazon (as usual) I bought these for under £15 and was not expecting to much, wrong, best £15 spent in a long while, nice "smooth" sound and plenty of volume plus a "bass box" made these speakers very pleasing on the ear. If your in doubt like I was, give them a go, you won't be disappointed, small in size but don't let that fool you, they ARE up for the job, even a desktop remote(complete with headphone jack) that operates the volume of these super little speakers, Thank-You Amazon, Mr A Thompson.

I bought this as a compact occassional use cd / dab player for the bedroom, but have been so incredibly impressed with it that I have it in my sitting room! From the moment I took it out of the box, the quality just spoke volumes. Plug it in and it automatically knows the time abd the date! Brilliant search on the DAB, nothing you cant get (and I live in Devon). I have not heard any hum that others mention. The only drawback I would say is that the sound quality is very slightly tinny, but that is down to its tiny compact size. Very impressed with this, excellent quality at a very good price. I would definitely buy more Pure products.

I have been using this system for last 3 months. I am completely gobsmacked. This system produces the sound as good as the speaker costing 5times more than the price I have paid. If you are in the market for computer speaker go for this one, you will not be disappointed.

I was convinced I needed a speaker set with a subwoofer but my other half (correctly as it turned out, dammit) said to forget a subwoofer because at the cheaper end of the market they all tend to be very poor, with more boom than bass. To be honest, I hoped to get a set of speakers for around the twenty pound mark, but clearly, as these speakers demonstrate, you do get what you pay for and I am very glad I pushed the budget up a bit higher because I think it is paying off already in terms of listening enjoyment. Anyone looking for a decently priced home theatre system should consider the Samsung HT-TZ315R as it delivers good quality surround sound, is easy to assemble/set up and can be bought for less than £250. With my old system I was constantly changing the settings in an attempt to give me a decent home theatre experience. Having assembled and set this system up in less than 2 hours I put Saving Private Ryan on. This had been recently saved from SKY MOVIES and as I had connected my SKY+HD box using the optical in I was expecting some good sounds from all the speakers. I have had this radio in daily use for ten months now, and really, for the price I would say it is superb! I cannot understand those who say the sound quality is below par - I think the sound quality is one of its best attributes - two of my workmates have bought a Pure One after hearing mine - even at high volume its unbelievable considering it has one 3" speaker - (If you use headphones you get full stereo too). It was recently dropped from a table on to a hard floor, and is still perfect - very impressive. It has to be said that it does look a little 'plasticky', but the design is quirky and neat. I spent a long time searching the internet for a decent surround system to replace my 2 little speaker on my pc. I couldnt decide which ones to go for but after reading all the brilliant reviews I knew I just had to get my money's worth! And I am SO glad I did. Easy to assemble Sound perfect you barely need the bass I have it just under the half way mark. No distortion what so ever. Very pleased and turned up a day early too with the super saver delivery! The only minor niggle is that the leads on the speakers are not extremely long if you have a big room but I still give it 5 out of 5 for the money!

Ok. I've just purchased a new PC with a top of the range Creative labs sound card, the next order of business was a good pair of PC speakers. Having read the rave reviews on this site & others, I decided to go for the Soundsticks II. Well, the build quality is excellent, both the satellites & the bass unit have a really solid, quality feel about them & it looks great too. Setup is easy, just take a moment to examine the connections, they look a bit like an S-Video connection and if you're not careful it is possible to break the small pins inside. The only drawback is the sound quality. Perhaps I'm being over critical as I normally listen to music with Shure E5C headphones but still, in my humble opinion, these speakers just don't sound that good with music. You should ... Purchased this through ACS Media on Amazon.co.uk Marketplace and item arrived swiftly and in perfect condition. I'm not that technically competent so a brief teething trouble (I had to disconnect my webcam to allow the turntable to be heard) was swiftly resolved with a quick call to the Ion tech helpdesk (although they're only open during office hours) who were excellent. The software takes less than 30 seconds to install and is extremely simple to use. I've not had the need to try the advanced software as yet, but played back through iTunes it sounds great to me.
