This is great mouse - no need to install anything at all. Plug it in and you're away. The only thing is that the blue light is permanently on, which can be kind of bright at night. Other than that, I love this piece of kit and would recommend it for laptop users.

At 5 pounds, this was a straight bargain. Although when I got it, it lacked batteries and an instruction manual (which were supposed to be supplied, as it said on the box), it worked fine. There's no software included, it is purely plug & plag, which is good because I like to have next to no applications running on my PC. It is exceptionally precise and comfortable, although the size took getting used to. It is an advantage though. Less than a second after plugging the reciever in, it works. The only problem I have now is storing the reciever - unless I push down on the middle button next to the wheel, the reciever is pushed back out as soon as I insert it.
