Dont be fooled by the "1000dpi" resolution. It only "works" on a mat back surface. On other surfaces your fine until you want to make small delicate strokes, then your really stuffed. Move the the mouse vertically, slowly and it gets a mind of its own. A pain in a neck for fps games. I agree..it is far too light and feels really cheap. Rather have an old roller ball than this.

Bought this in January 2008 after reading comments here. I find it too big and not very comfortable. I get the feeling it is more suitable for left handed people.

The feel of this mouse is great, and it looks great. However the one I got didn't respond to a left click due to poor finishing of the plastic external button cover. If they can't get their quality control right.....

This is my fifth year of owning and using this mouse. It still works very well. It has seen heavy use over the years, so I consider it to have been very reliable. It has had a few minor problems:

- In the second or third year, I had to dismantle the mouse and use a craft knife to cut down the sides of the scroll wheel, because it became stiff and difficult to rotate while clicking. Making it narrower solved the problem.

- The slippery pads underneath are starting to think about coming off.

- The USB lead is too short if the USB port is at the back of your notebook on the opposite side to your mouse hand. For the first four years, I put up with this by ensuring the cable ran from the USB port, underneath the laptop, ... Read More:
