Really pleased with these. It's not like being at Gatecrasher on a big trance night, but they do their job as travel speakers or as a second "hi-fi". Tweaking your iPod's EQ menu helps them sound better - I like the Dance (bassy) and Electronic (trebly but little bass) and Rock settings. I leave the iStation 'surround sound' ON. (Surround sound only if you're the size of a flea, though.) Cost me £50 four years ago (still going strong) and much cheaper if you play around with a few mouse clicks now ! Re some web reviews stating that continually operating the iPod buttons weakens the docking connection - I don't know if it works with the smaller ones, but on the full-size iPod or the new Touch version (I've tried both), you are ... I burn a lot of DVDs - 3 or 4 per day lately - so I'm looking for quality and value when it comes time to buy more. That's why I love these Memorex DVD+R 100 packs. I really can't imagine what the other reviewer was doing to have so many problems. This O/S is rock solid for me. There are some driver issues that should be investigated before proceeding, as not absolutely everything is supported. I am currently running 3 64bit O/S machines, one with Vista64 and one with Server 2003 64bit. The third,XP64 is quicker that Vista for the applications I use it for, and simpler to use than Server2003 for everything else. I can only imagine the other reviewer had an incompatible machine, or perhaps didn't take the time to do the correct driver installs and updates.

It is extortionate to charge this much for something you will probably only ever use once. Once you've transferred all your huge files you will probably, like me, go out and but a large USB stick for the day-to-day transfers because you will not have the time to wait for it to dawdle your files from one PC to another. Believe me, it is very slooow!

The JBL on tour was a close second an is probably slightly louder but the iM4 wins on sound quality and the MaxxBass technology is impressive. For holidays, hotel rooms and on the balcany with a beer it's the perfect choice.

when I was looking to buy a head set I wanted one that would allow me to use it for music with a pc and for gaming on a pc and a playstation 3. I already knew logitech headsets tend to work well with a playstaion 3 and I had read about the problems the bluetooth headsets caused to your controllers. I opted for this headset and it set it self up to the point of me checking it had been recognised which it had, I then tested it in battlefield bad company and call of duty 4 and it worked a treat. everyone I asked said it was clear enough for them to hear and it improved the game for me as I could warn people they were going to be shot and taunt those I had shot as well as congratulating those who shot me. Bob Hopkins said it was good to talk and he was right.
